Is it just me or does anyone else find Barcelona's football dull and boring? Honestly, the 2 Chelsea goals were much more exciting than anything Barcelona did last night.

Obviously I want Chelsea to loose in the final but at least the scumbag will miss the final - how thick is Terry exactly?

I love Barca. You're not just judging them on tonight are you?

Tonight they over passed it looking for space after Chelsea parked the bus. There was little running play from Barca because they was no need for it and no space to run into with Chelsea setting up a defensive line on the edge of their own penalty box.

The Ramires goal was incredibly crucial, because it allowed Chelsea to revert back to all out defense for the second half when they would have had to attack Barca with ten men. I reckon Barca would have ripped them apart in sexy style in a more open second half once the space opened up in Chelsea's defence.

Strangely sad to see Guardiola leave Barcelona. I thought they were on their way to becoming the greatest team of all time....but it's gone wrong just over the last week. I'm sure it could be put right with a slight change in the team dynamic. Maybe the new fella will bring that? Funny - a couple of inches here and there, shots would have become goals, and maybe he'd still be there.

Feels like a watershed moment, but we'll see.

I think Roy Hodgson should have got the job though. After all his methods and 35 years of experience translate anywhere. And if he was good enough for the five time European champions, then...

It does seem like a over-reactionary move by Pep, but then again he only signs on to stay year by year and has been considering taking a break for a while. And he's won it all already, the only other thing he could have done would be defend the Champions League, which nobody else has managed, so it's not like he has anything left to prove.

I thought it would be very interesting to see what an outsider would do with the Barca team, but replacing Pep with Tito Vilanova sounds like it could be a smooth transition with not too much disruption the current Barca playing philosophy.

Let's just hope Vilanova isn't the Catalan Terry Connor though!
