Hmmm, a strange qualifying session. Schumi got pole - and to think he is the one who doesn't like the Pirelli tyres! He has his penalty of course!

That means it leaves the way clear for Webber - if he can get a good start. He is not good at that!

Rosberg is sitting pretty in second place. He might be able to pull something out of the bag.

Even Hamilton is in a strong position. Although, I suppose he is disappointed that he didn't get pole!

Button did terrible! he is going to have to do something amazing tomorrow.

Grosjean did a superb job.

Fingerman had a poor qualifying today.

Alonso and Massa(especially considering Massa's previous form) did a good job in their lovely London Bus. I wonder if it is one of those 'Bendy Buses'? It would make the turns of Monaco a bit easier!

Maldonaldo made a **** of himself! Bad show from him.

I think the weather is meant to be sunny tomorrow. A shame. My prediction for the win - well, I think Webber could pull it off! That might rub up Fingerman. Although, Fingerman still leads the championship(jointly with Alonso).

Good for Michael! Best way to answer your critics. Webber did a great job too, even without the blown diffuser. He could win this, you know...

Well, it proves that there is life in the old Schumi still. Yep, my money is on Webber actually winning today.

Well it wasn't the most exciting race. It is Monaco, where overtaking is very rare! I still don't like the new Ste. Devoute corner - if that was changed back and maybe the Ricasse redesigned, then maybe the start/finish straight would be easier to overtake on.

Still, well done to Webber. Good race from him.

Rosberg did well as well.

Alosno takes the lead in the WDC. Despite having a London bus! He must be thinking about a 3rd WDC now?

Good race from the Force India guys as well.

Vettel had a good strategy.

The 6th different winner in 6 races. Fingers crossed for Canada.

Lewis did okay, but it wasn't to be his day.

Jenson had an epic fail.

Worse race of the season and worst Monaco gp for years.
I have a horrible feeling the fantasy league will not bring good news for me either!!

Well it bring up the 6th different winner in the 6th race.

As for the Fantasy F1 league - why worry? You are on 388 points, and still in the lead. Only theantmeister has a realistic chance of catching you. I think the best I can hope for is 3rd place.

 It all went very very wrong, didn't it?

Great to see Alonso on top! I found his post-race interview pretty interesting. Like he says, this season it is all about getting in front of whoever happens to have won the last race. Now he just has to beat Webber in Canada. I don't think we're going to see anyone pull out a large point lead this year. It's going to be a close one!

BUMP

Canada time! A great track(barriers and low downforce). Only one DRS zone(having two was perhaps a bit of overkill). There is rain expected for free practise and qualifying, but none for race day.

I hope there is a different winner. Ideally, I'd like it to be Kimi.

Don't forget about the Fantasy F1 league as well.

Canada is usually good for Mclaren, butI'm hoping for a good Lotus performance too. And will the changes to the Red Bull floor be significant?

I love Canada. Fantastic track.
Currently swapping shifts around as I work Saturday and Sunday evenings :?

I want Button to lift himself out of his hole and win this weekend :D

Well Christian Horner was already downplaying how valuable that hole in the floor was before the ban came down from the FIA. Then again, it could have been a bluff and poor old Adrian Newey has pulled out what little hair he has left

I'm going to say it'll be a Mercedes on pole. Whether they win it or not is another matter...

Alonso and Massa recently snapped by paparazzi together on the streets of London...

Scurrilous rumours suggest a bystander dressed in red and white clothing was overheard shouting to Massa,

"Fernando is faster than you. Can you confirm you understand that message?"

Well done Vettel for claiming another pole position.

I see Red Bull have been done for cheating for the second time in a fortnight...
