I'm sure he's got a very good reason why it didn't happen.

It's always the same - they forgot to carry a 1 or something.

Seems being a harbinger of doom and basic numeracy don't mix.

If its anything that will wipe out most of the world population it'll be a virus, something like a bird flu with a 50% mortallity rate. Now thats scary and it dosen't need some fairy tale to make it scary, its happend before (Spanish Flu)

So, that's probably the 10th time the world has ended, then. And seven trumpets? The only time I hear seven trumpets is after having beans on toast.

the world will probably end with a chain reaction of events from something that is an everyday occurance like flushing a toilet that causes a leak, that shorts out an electric circuit, that causes a telly to blow, that makes a man fall off a balcony into a train, train gets derailed, pilot is watching the news of the train crash and flies plane into a nuclear reactor by accident, reactor explodes causing a crack in the earth, dead wasp falls out of a tree down the crack and lands on the head of an alien in his earth core control deck, alien tries to smack wasp but misses and knocks himself out with the blow, head falls onto his control deck, nose lands on self destruct button and the world ends just like that.

True, bloke in the pub told me thats how it ends

Love this idea of the world ending simple because in universe terms we are a tiny fuckin' speck that has appeared and will dissapear with little consequence, seems some people still seem to think we're at the centre of it all... idiots.

I wouldn't ever worry about religious end of the world theories..

I would however worry about the power of the Sun and its effects on Earth like Earthquakes..

Did you know that in the last 9 days Italy alone has had 13 Earthquakes.?

Don't get that on the main stream news do ya....

Maybe it's already ended, and we just haven't realised it? Humanity reached it's apex with the invention of the CD32, it's been all downhill ever since...
