WIth Harry Redknapp gone yesterday it looks like AVB is all set to be our new manager, he was seen flying into London for talks today.

Last I read it was AVB, David Moyles and two others being rumoured for the Spurs job. They need to get someone in quickly before there is a exodus of players.

Interesting to see that Swansea have installed Michael Laurdup as manager.

after not making it to a game for the first time in 26 years...sacking Mcleish means I can watch Villa play again! :D
worst season ever, hoping Paul Lambert can get us trying to score goals again.

Went to 2 games at Villa Park last season - I saw 2 goals in total, and 2 draws - could have lost, but the draws just summed up our season.

It was the Wolves and Spurs home games.

Will be going to a lot more this season with Lambert in charge me thinks!

I cant wait for this season, as a Reading fan i'm excited as anything. Only 2 years in the premiership in their 120+ year history previously. Hope they dont depend on their championship squad and strengthen it.

Last year was a brilliant season with Man City winning it, hope they can do it again

Yeah it only seems like yesterday the season ended. Reading at home to Stoke, not too bad.

I'm really happy though, the Euro's on at the moment, then its the Olympics (not a huge fan but with working at home i'll have it on in the background), then NFL Preseason in August and of course the premiership returns

Not convinced in Brendan Rodgers. Time will tell but apparently he is interested in Bendtner
