He now has just under a years experience of the Premier League and a decent squad that he can build on without the kind of players at Chelsea who all ran and cried to the owner when they didn't get played.

It'll be a gamble for AVB as he's going to rebuild after the disappointing campaign with Chelsea. During his time at Stamford Bridge, I don't think some senior players got along with AVB as they became sceptical with his tactics and team selection. I assume it led to the tension where the likes of Anelka and Alex handed a transer request as they been frozen out from the line-up.

Who knows where he goes from there?

 Just had a look & the best odds I can find are 1/50.

That'd mean you'd win 20p, you'd be better putting your money in a savings account!

The act of RVP declining to sign the contract extension (on the back of Nasri and Fabregas exits) and particularly so the way he worded the statement in a way that implies disharmony exists within the club appears to be causing ructions.

Nine new players at Mansfield now, must be making a real play to get back in the big time.

Going to be a bit of competition there with Macclesfield and Hereford coming down & Luton are going to be there or there abouts.

Best keep that Smith & Western handy.

May as well just cancel the Scottish Premier League and give the title to Celtic.

Maybe Celtic should give the others a sporting chance by reuniting their former management duo of Dalglish and Barnes!
