I bet some muppet in the UK buys it for about £7, despite copies being available in the shops. It's shocking what some people will buy on eBay and who much they'll pay.

/wonders whether UNIQUE ONE-OFF R@RE "Strip cut paper shredder" box (complete with BOTH price label stickers) will make me enough to retire on...

I had the first copy of Retro Gamer but wasn't fussed and didn't continue with it*. I sold it pronto when it was going for over 30 notes on the ebay ^_^

I like the new mag too much already to part with it.**

*Don't burn ME!! >_<

**I'll but a 2nd copy if the ebay goes well :P

Jesus, £3.00 for postage for a magazine, these people truly take the censored.

Still, some idiots will pay it...

Thats were the mark up is. Postage and Packaging for that will be less than a pound. Thats not the worst example of ripping off on the postage though seen on ebay.

I find it strange that he's touting for overseas business but only offering UK postage rates. FWIW, it'd cost £1.40 or £1.59 to post RG 19 by first class in the UK, depending on how much packaging you added.

Minus £1.50 or so postage.

Minus 50p or so ebay fees.

Man's a genius!

$21AU (with postage) for a magazine that used to cost only $12AU WITH a CD?? & there's 3 days left, so it'll go up. I might ask one of my contacts to send me one from the UK.......

Seeing as it's been about £2.40 AU to £1 for ages now, you were obviously getting something of a bargain in the past—even not taking into account shipping prices, the "value" of the old RG was about $14.40 AU...

Still, think yourself lucky you're not in Iceland. When I lived there, most UK magazines that were around the fiver mark were typically sold for about £18 (approx. $32 or $43 AU). And while Iceland's part-way across the Atlantic, it's still considered a European country (although it's EEA rather than EU).
