Haha, you said rubber. Nice cover, not that I'm superficial like that. Can't believe that's my first post.

When I expect it through my door Daz?

Looks a lot better than the old covers - A bit more upmarket.

Very nice and stylish.

Anything with the old rubber-keyed beauty is perfect by me.

+1 for the 48K

Well, I knew that short of smacking Markie repeatedly over the head with a think plank, he was always going to come up with something good. This cover looks smart and sophisticated—like a grown-up version of the old mag, although not quite so grown-up that it needs a pipe and slippers. Short of the inside being created entirely in Crayola-vision, I'm thinking the mag's going to look very nice indeed.

Gold star for Markie: *

If it's a green spine I'll be well happy.

Well to be fair, it was on green for one issue and that only had a very small hint of the retro gamer logo.

As for the cover, I'm in two minds. Agreed it is stylish but not too keen on taking pieces literally from the old Retro Gamer like "OLD" and the round peel off sticker like effect on the right hand side. Personally, I would have gone the whole hog or if your going to be different on the front to go all the way. Just my view though other than that the rest of the front cover as mentioned is stylish and as they say, it's whats inside that counts :D

I see your point, but you have to remember that a lot of people fear change. So we kept familiar elements, in order to keep people happy.

The cover doesn't look too bad at all.

I don't think they should be attempting to reinvent a publication, when the original is still very fresh in everyones mind. There wasn't much wrong with the old format and as with anything formats can beadjusted along the way.
