Special offers! List them here!

I thought it'd be a good idea to list any games that are currently on sale. It could be in a high street shop or on a website. Basically, if we post them here, we'll have the chance to go buy the ones we like before the offers end. :D

Morrisons are doing some great deals at the moment. Some top new releases on the 360/PS3 are going for £25 each (this includes Mercenaries 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Bad Company and more) and DS games (Guitar Hero, Sims 2) are £12 each.

Bloody Morrisons, just got MGS 4 from them. Though it was weird that they sealed the bags when you buy the games. Got home to find a copy of Bad Company instead, Useless!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently pretty much all the Morrisons were cleared out of all the good stuff by 11. There getting re stocked on Wednesday though.

I saw Mass Effect (360) advertised in Argos for £9.99.
Not sure if I saw it online or in-store but if they still have it, it's a bargain.

There used to be this little store near where I live that sold loads of second hand PC games, as well as PS1, MD, GB, GBA etc etc, a real little Aladdin's Cave. Lovely chap used to run it, often had high prices but could easily be talked down. A typical negotiation, when I saw original big box version of Baldur's Gate:-

Me: how much is this game?
Shopkeeper: £9.99
Me: i'll give you £1.50 for it.
Shopkeeper: OK.

It's now a hairdressers, the sort where a simple mens cut costs you 25 quid...

Argos - Xbox 360s come with a free copy of Viva Pinata or Halo 3, although you have to make sure you use the code for that offer or you end up playing your face to the service desk and demanding your free game (as i did).

But it works out better than that if you play your cards right .... with Argos listing Halo 3 at £40 and Viva at £10, take Halo 3. Then, since they have an offer on giving you a £10 giftcard for spending over £100, immediately use the giftcard to get Viva so in effect getting £50 of games free with the purchase.
