Thanks.

I've none for sale but try this bloke. He;'s always has some obscure ones and comes highly recommended.
Remember you need a step down voltage convertor to use most of these things.

As a bit of an update to this one .
I had a nice Christmas surprise from China this morning.
On my never ending search for new clones i use www.made-in-china.com a lot.
This site lists loads of Chinese companies that produce these things. Most will only sell in bulk but over the years i have been fairly lucky by contacting the companies directly and persuading them to just sell me one of each. Sometimes i get lucky other times not.
There ws a new company listing a few weeks ago and i sent the usual begging email to them. Imagine my surprise when the Postvan stopped this morning with a huge box from China.
In it was 12 new clones from the people i had contacted along with a note saying ' Thank you for your interest in our company, please find enclosed, with our compliments, several samples of our products'
Completely free, no tax, customs or VAT.
So, am i happy? Oh yes!

Ooh yeah, show pics. =-)

i love these things, i'm in the process of setting up a "review site" (i needed to learn Wordpress for a client and prefer to build a working project rather than just fiddle about and discard the results) that covers, amongst other things, the NOAC stuff i've got over the years...

Some do, some don't.
The vast majority of them play Japanese Famicom games but a fair percentage of them have loads of games built in to the console.
Some take US NTSC NES games, others PAL NES games, others anything you want to throw at them.
60 pin to 72 pin convertors are easy enough to come across to play import carts.
As most originate in the Far East you also need a step down Voltage convertor.
Others e.g. those made in South Africa are VHF instead of UHF and won't work at all in the UK.

I don't have this one allthough i know of it and have seen a few of them for sale over the years.
I'm a bit 'anal' about my clone collection and will only buy boxed items. I've haven't seen a boxed Good Boy for a long time.
I'll add some new pics later on as i've quite a few new additions this year. I've almost 100 of the things now.

Some new additions that have arrived between January and February this year.

Image

They are (clockwise from top down)

1. Kontorland Mega Kid - It's one of those clones that trys to fool the unwarry buyer into thinking it's an actual computer. It isn't. It has a full QWERTY keyboard, with a famicom slot at the top. It comes with a 80 game cartridge that actually has 4 games on it.

2. Video Consola Family Game set - Made for the Spanish market. In a modified SNES shell. Don't you just love the imaginative names these people call their consoles?

3. Dingo digital A 320 Micro Game Station - MP4/3 player with integrated emulation features.Emulates NES/SNES/MD/GB/GBC/GBA/NEO GEO and some arcade titles with varying degrees of success. Looks and feels identical to the Game Boy Micro.

4. Ainol (try saying that after a few pints!) V2000 - Another hybrid MP4/3 player with emulation. Very impressive piece of kit this one. Comes with a Gamepad device which the player slots into. Makes emulation a doddle.

5. Gemei X760+ - Yet another media player hybrid and an update of the X760. Emulates GB/GBC/GBA fairly well. Button placing and response are poor however. When will the Chinese learn that if you want to include GBA emulation you should have a device with shoulder buttons. Doh!!!!

6. Rasti Super Player - Bog standard Famiclone in a modified SNES shell. Plays UK NES games (just for a change).

7. Top Video Game - Made for the South African market. In a famicom shell that's Grey/White instead of the standard Red/White.

Thats all folks.
As ever i will (eventually) have a better description and a full review over at my blog
