As well as the mighty Street Fighter 4 this Friday we have the 360 port of Dodonpachi DAI OU JOU and the Shooting Love collection out in Japan too. Can't wait to get my copy of Dodonpachi :D

Damn, I'm jealous of anyone within reach of an import 360!

I'm looking forward to the 360 port of DOJ because it'll be a straight port of the Arcade game, I love the PS2 version too but it plays with that slightly strange graphics filter on so it doesn't look as nice as it's arcade parent.

I've not ordered Shooting Love yet but I'm getting it purely for the Exzeal port that's on there which has never had a home translation (I've got Trizeal on the DC and I'm not keen).

Got my Preorders of Deathsmiles and Ketsui in though, man it's going to be an expensive few months!!

No it doesn't. The PS2 port has 2 different Tate modes and on one of them there are those "strange" graphics you mention. The other one is arcade perfect imo. BUT on this setting the image will be cut on top and on the bottom, you will have to play on a monitor were you can adjust the overscan to make everything visible.

Still looks a bit ropey to me, a bit like all those Cave PS2 ports I've played. Maybe I've just got used to HD?

I also pre-ordered the Death Smiles limited edition.. I'd love to do it by Fedex but when I order Silent Hill home coming I got charged £20 customs.. I see you also did it the long way.. Mind it's costing me £70 as it is still cheaper than the board

Customs is sometimes hit and miss with Play Asia, I've been charged customs for single DS games sent by the cheapest shipping method, while when I order Tatsunoko Vs Capcom from them last year and used UPS shipping (took 2 days) it got through just fine, no customs!

I've only been charged for customs from Play-Asia when I've ordered consoles, I suspect I've been quite lucky. I normally go for the cheapo option when it comes to the postage from PA unless it's something like Deathsmiles LTD which I ordered boxed so it doesn't get wrecked.

I ordered my Jap boxed Neo Geo from another company and didn't get charged a thing by customs (it came packaged in a huge box too), it's really inconsistant.

Can't wait for Deathsmiles :D

Its just luck of the draw wiith customs. They never billed for my Blade Runner HD DVD Suitcase set yet two days later the charged me £12 on my Lost box set. To make matters worse they took it out of the original shipping box and put it in a crappy jiffybag which resulted in it being damaged. To say i was fumming was an understatement.

I don't think I've ever been charged on something received from PlayAsia...
