What a grand weekend! Thoroughly enjoyed! Spent most of Saturday chatting as there's just so many people to catch up with and new people to meet! Thanks to everyone who took the time to say hello and have a chat with me, you all know who you are :)

Managed to play more games today but kicking myself for missing out on a few systems (PC-FX mostly and some of the arcade cabs). Hopefully will catch them another time. Came back with loads of stuff, so will have a great week ahead going through all that and playing on my new Beeb! Shame I ballsed up on the LBP auction though - really wanted that Sackboy!

Thanks to SirC and everyone involved with the entire event, everyone who gave me & Mark bits and bobs to take home with us, Zetr0 for being such a nice chap trying to hack my PSP (just a shame I have an awkward Jap model!), TwoHeadedBoy & MugUK for keeping us company on the journey, and of course the super generous Andrew Rollings who bought us all food and beer at the Carvery.

Which reminds me, could someone PM me Andrew Rollings' email address please? Or does anyone know if he's on any forums? Was going to buy him a drink today to say thanks but unfortunately didn't catch him during the afternoon before he left. What a top chap!

Took loads off photos which I'll upload either later or tomorrow. For a change they're actually of the event and not drunken post-event outings! ;)

i worked out a routine early on wherby i could tempareraly play one handed whilst i supped my beer, i soon emptyed my glass and was kindly bought another...which i also drank...and was bought another! by about an hour into the game i started to feel the need to visit the little boys room...but carried on...every mile that went by i was getting more and more desperate for a pee, it got so bad that with only 5 miles left to go i nearly stopped playing as i was actualy in pain from holding it in!
when i finaly crossed the line, i didn't even look at my time, i jumped up and sprinted to the loo knocking over a chair or two on the way  ...i (eventualy) returned to a round of applause to find out that i had beaten the previouse days time by around 38 minuits!, with a time of 2hrs 22minuits and 10 seconds! :D

Well done mohicankid.. I wouldn't have bought you that pint if i knew you were bursting...

Did the limited edition upside down boxes sell?

Top weekend folks, thanks Sir Clive and everyone else who helped. I'd be interested in knowing how much was raised.

Dunno... Heard he's a bit of an asshole actually :)

Actually, people kept buying me drinks... it was AWFUL!!! I was already absolutely wasted! I just wanted coca cola at this point, but people kept bringing me beer!!! (I'm dreading the inevitable drunken beatles rock band youtube vidz.)

Seriously, i had a really nice time... Most enjoyable. Would do again. A++++++

Pity I missed this, sad question of timing really, and a lack of holiday time left to take this year (given I'm gonna be away for a lot of next month!).

Had a fantastic time, even though I could only make it for Sunday.

Great meeting some familiar names off this forum.

My favourite - 4 player Warlords on the Atari 2600, a true competitive classic.

Well done SirClive...when's the next one? :)

Hello everyone!

Just signed up after an amazing weekend. I'm the geordie which didn't win the paperboy cab :( never mind eh?

Was my first event and loved every second of it. Played on so many different system I lost count, will go to another. Everyone was so friendly and didn't mind having a chat or playing games with you. Had a good laugh on the mini night out with bobbyb, sirclive and sorry I can't remember your username haha I was alittle rough the next morning.

The venue was spot on!
All the computers were awesome!
Thanks to everyone for a fantastic weekend!

Just seen there's a picture of me aswel haha I'm the mug in the red/white shirt on the previous page.

Many thanks,
Matt.
