NOT the atrocity that was the Playstation remake. Just didn't have IT like the C64 version.

Can it really be anything BUT the C64 version in all honesty?!

I quite liked the CPC version, but maybe I shouldn't have said that :?

C64 Version, Just loved the Whistling shells, followed by the sploooosh sound FX on the Battle Stations section. Also the sweet sound of your anti-Aircraft guns.

Also, the risk factor-Brave the secret passage section or go direct, but face more aircraft?.

Sequel was one of my all time fav.C64 games ever.

Played the Spectrum version first, fantastic stuff! Bought it for the C16 soon after... took the C16 version back to the WH Smiths soon after that...

The C64 version was the best... made me very jealous. The Spectrum version was good, but not as good as the Commodore one.

The sleek front end and battleships level was better on the Speccy , the tank level better on the C64

Again iv'e only played the " spectrum " version , so that gets my nod , but by all accounts the c64 version is superior.

I owned and liked Amstrad version, but I remember at the time this was always thought of as 'c64' game in playground spats. And the playground never lies.

I played the C64 version as a kid and it's hard to look past that. But I tried the Atari 8-bit version recently and there's barely any difference, except that the colour is a bit more vivid on the A8 version.
