think issue 71 sounds fantastic - but can sympathise with the lack of a more festive cover - the Nights one made me smile all day.

Anyway, cant wait to read it. Is it this sat via post for sub?

Talk about an own goal. A real pity and an opportunity missed. Probably won't buy it.

I don't understand... A mag full of TOP-content... I don't care about the cover thàt much, really...
I really feel the retro-buzz running through my veins looking at the mags content this month.

Yeah its sad theres not a Xmas cover as it really brings back huge nostalgic memories of Xmas's past back in the 80's when Crash/Zzap etc all did that.

At the end of the day as others have said its about whats inside and it looks to be a great issue at the moment. But shame we could have an Olli Frey cover.

But i wont be picky and avoid this issue because of that, thats really pathetic. As long as its full of good articles i'll still buy it even if it has a picture of the Master grinning on the front cover.

I'm torn on that. The PlayStation as a platform is huge, but I think it'd be an unknown quantity on Retro Gamer, and might even turn off long-time readers. One thing's for sure: I think After Burner's a much better-looking cover than anything PlayStation would have been.

Playstation would have been the perfect cover. almost 15 years to the day it was launched (admittedly in Japan), would have fit really well.

I would love a PS1 focussed issue and I've been onboard since about Issue 4. I'm very much one of the old school '8 bit' gamers but the PS1 really feels old enough now to warrant inclusion as a Retro Platform.

Dead right about that though.

REALLY wanted a Christmas cover , but if the compromise is a superb cover like that , and a mag full of content requested by readers , then that'll do for me

I think that's the best suggestion I've ever read in the Feedback forum to date.

The Pie Chart on Page 11 is wrong.

I got mine, I haven't had a chance to have anything more than a cursory flick yet.

I actually like the cover, but how come there's no "next time" page, this time?

WOW! What a fantastic issue.

OK, so no Christmas cover - it's not the end of the world and the Afterburner one looks great.

Thanks to Darran and the team (especially Craig) for the Christmas prezzie content. This is officially the best issue Imagine have ever produced.

Next month - Driver! Ooooh like the sound of that :D
