Bleh. Some of my sharpest, harshest childhood memories are of the occasions when I was given liquorice or marzipan. 'Hey, looks like sweets...nyum nyyum...oh sweet baby Jesus...did I do something wrong?!'. Punishment sweets; I can think of no other explanation.

Never heard of Fiendish Feet. Can you still buy Cola cubes? I used to buy a quarter of them on my way to school occasionally & can still remember how they used to rub the roof of my mouth raw after just one cube.

Yeah, St Ivel Yoghurts.. I didnt think that they were that great to be honest There is a thread from here

It was kind of the St Ivel thing to do weird shaped pots with Golden Crown/Churn ( dont think it exists anymore utterly butterly being the closest I reckon) being churn shaped

St Ivel suffered when Milk Deliveries dropped off and was sold to Dairy Crest most of its spreads disappeared inc Gold iirc

Well yeah, I posted about them about four posts before you did, with a link to my thread about them

Funny Feet, the ice cream things? Yeah, I remember them. And Zzaps as well (which seemed like all the excess ice cream from the factory slapped together and stuck on a stick).

Zoom was a good ice cream - red icy bits, with banana creamy bits and a cherry icy bit stuck on top, to look like a rocket. Very nice!

Zoom!s were fantastic - just the nicest ice lolly ever; I remember coercing my mum to buy them by the box whenever I saw them. Sadly, like so many other tasty things they were suddenly 'new and improved', ie greatly inferior. Unsurprisingly they seemed to disappear soon after that...
