There's been another thread recently asking for a feature on software shops, but there isn't much mileage in it (except, as I mentioned, those associated with particular games companies/famous programmers).

As for mail order, there may be an interesting feature in the idea of mail order clubs (i.e. Special Reserve) and software company clubs (i.e Codemasters' Cartoon Club)...
