Wow. Haven't ate Refreshers since the 1980's. Do they still taste the same though?

Are you talking about Refreshers bars, Refreshers chews or Refreshers tablets?

Hope Soupdragon doesn't mind me having a stab at this, but I'm guessing the long thin chewy bars, as it's the most likely to lose teeth to.

I remember once we got a few Variety-sized packs of Rice Krispie-like cereal through our letterbox, but they were yellow! This is about 1993-ish. They were quite nice, but I never saw them again.

Must have been a trial product that bombed or something.

I used to love Lucky Charms as well. Can't get them anywhere here now, though you can get them online for a ridiculous price (£10 a box or something).

While I'm on cereal - I can highly recommend CURIOUSLY CINNAMON! Taste sensation etc etc.

Yellow Rice Krispies? Sounds like Banana Bubbles, turned the milk into banana-milk. Gorgeous stuff, but we only ever had the one box before they stopped making them. Such a shame.

My dad was having a sort out at his house a few weeks back, and found a box of teenie terrapins that
came from a kinder egg.

I collected all of them I think.

Used to get a kinder egg after school, and sometimes a slush puppy.

A couple of years ago Kelloggs brought out an adult version of the Variety pack. It consisted of six boxes (larger than the children's version) of cereals like Special K etc. It was quite expensive to buy and the concept was quickly dropped.

Cremola Foam.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creamola_Foam

Specifically the Orange flavour. It was AMAZING, like liquid foamy sherbet. And now it's gone...or is it? A friend of mine said she found a shop in Stirling that started selling it again...and a quick Google for it shows that someone has indeed started making it again, under the name Kramola Fizz. http://www.fizzshop.co.uk

Also, I remember white chocolate skulls that you could squish and strawberry sauce/blood came out of them, they came with a card, with a cartoon illustrating one of a collection of horror characters. I loved those cards.

My mrs bought her nephews a Kinder Egg each last week, and I instantly reverted to a child, peering over their shoulders eagerly waiting to see what toys they had inside.

Now your talking! Loved Slush Puppies. We used to have them on saturdays at our local lesure centre after football. And when we were waiting to be served we'd lean over the counter to the row of syrups they had for them and have a couple of squirts when the woman wasent looking. I remember a pound would get you a large Slush Puppy and 3 credits on the Street Fighter 2 cab in the resturant.

More sweets that I just remembered...

There were these monster jelly things that you could get in strips. You peeled the foil off the back of each one to get it out and shops kept them in fridges so they were always cold and slimy. No idea what they were called though!

White Kitkat chunkies...whatever happened to those?

I know what you mean about the jelly sweets, they were similar to these if not these ones.

Yes! Although I'm sure the ones I had were in black packaging but yeah, those are the things. Mmm...
