I've not seen Vice Versas and I work in a cash-and-carry so if anybody had them, it would be us.

Also agree with the Peanut Butter Kit Kat chunky - flippin' ultimate it was. Never knew it was a special edition :(

^I always thought Peanut Butter Kit Kat was a bit too much, like attempting to meld perfection with perfection, the result being some strange mutation that was kind of nice but also kind of odd and hard to comprehend(I don't want a slightly salty taste in my already pefect Chunky Kit Kat, I don't want the taste of chocolate and wafer in my peanut butter!) Not only that, they just felt way too bad for you, they went too far... :?

Probably my ultimate choc bar was the Coconut Boost, gosh knows why they stopped them, possibly because the coconut tended to form this harsh 'mist' in the back of the throat which tended to create a choking sensation when eating a bar too quickly?????? :?:

Apart from that, they were way better than the biscuit ones and absolute light years ahead of the guarana ones, how bloody great it felt to just gnash into a Coconut Boost with ones back teeth.... :D

I don't like peanut butter but I really liked the peanut butter kit kat chunky.

I only ended up trying one as I accidently picked one up thinking it was the caramel one.
Buy my stuff here.

Banana Bubbles, Banana Bubbles, the cereal that thinks its a milkshake! God I miss them!

Also does anyone remember Mountain Dew the UK release brand (I know they have it in USA and that we have Mountain Dew Energy).

And what about Nestles Vice-Versa's the sugar coated white chocolate and milk chocolate (The white chocolate would have a brown shell and the 'Vice Versa' :D )

Hello Mr/Ms Scolly :)

Mountain Dew is alive and well - we sell a dozen or so a day in my shop. And people always tell me that Vice-Versas are "back", but I've yet to see any evidence of that!

Hey, (Its Mr by the way :))

You have Mountain Dew as in the UK Release???? or American or Energy brand? If you have the UK Brand, how long has that been sold??

Vice Versas were my absolute favourite as a kid and I too have been told that they are back but still yet to see any in shops?

I bought some bottles of Mountain Dew from Sainsbury's not so long back. Was the first time I'd seen the drink in years! Not as nice as I remember it though, was a little flat. Maybe because it wasn't in a can...

I've noticed Tizer's gone like that over the years too.

Ah Yes, but the bottles are the 'Energy' brand and taste nothing like the Mountain Dew we used to have here or the USA brand.

And yes Tizer is completely different, I used to love it and now it tastes just wrong. I remember the red man that was on the cans getting Tizer poured into his head....days are gone

Indeed I do. Round our way used to get it from the baker. Doffs cap, walks up cobbled street, to the sound of Dvorák's Symphony No 9 'from The New World' (i.e. the music from the Hovis advert).

What kind? I’m not a big fan of the thick, white stodgy stuff, but generally speaking bread is ace. Warburton’s do a cracking “crusty loaf” and also a lighter Danish bread. Tasty.

Toast and butter – the food of kings.

The one in those almost-luminous green bottles?

I remember that red guy and Tizer being the sponsor of CD:UK on ITV!

See, I have to go for the thicker stuff, if I make a sandwich and it's not the size of a doorstep I feel like I'm missing out.

There's a shop underneath London Bridge station that sells TAB. No sure if it's clear or not as it's in a can!
