I'm eyeing up a 2 for £25 offer for Tatsunoko vs Capcom and No More heroes 2, but not sure whether to get them, or save my money for something else. Is it a good deal? Or if I'm unsure am I better off holding off and picking them up preowned for tenner or so later down the line?

Can't say I'm desperate for either of them really, I have the first NMH game and really liked it and I'm wondering if the sequel is necessary if I've still got the first. T vs C looks great and the online mode should be good fun but I'm not great at beat'em ups. And I've got loads of games to play as it is.

By the way, anyone know if the online mode for T vs C is plagued by cheaters like Mario Kart Wii? Or if any other Capcom/SF beat'em ups are rumoured for the Wii?

It's been on my GamesTracker list for ages, but I've never got around to buying it. Maybe when it hits £4.99 or less. :P

Well that's £13.50 each so I'd say go for it. NMH2 seems a lot harder to come by than the first one so I'd say that's a decent price. TvC is a lot easier to get to grips with than the old VS games so it's enjoyable even if you aren't too good at it. Best played with the classic controller though. The online is okay but does suffer from some lag and cut-offs which is annoying.

As far as I know, there aren't any more Capcom fighters Wii-bound.

No more heroes 2 is a tricky one, I gave up on the second to last boss. It looks great, has lots of cool stuff, cutscenes etc but the main game itself is pretty poor. The camera is just awful and it gets pretty repetitive fighting the same 3 or 4 generic guys over and over. It has some seriously cheap bosses and bad design. Kinda worth playing for the giant robot fight but the first was is much better.

I like it. It reminds me of a mix of Silent Hill, Project Zero and Kuon. Its a good survival "horror" game, great atmosphere, interesting story but the Wii controls can be a little annoying at times (though thats a minor complaint at most)

I've never loved my Wii the way I love my Gamecube, it's always been a slight disappointment to in some ways, but there are great games out there - and they're usually less than £15

Just got Red Steel 2 and Rune Factory Frontier - will fire them up for a play at the weekend

Rune Factory is Aces, finally a perfect balance between dating sim, farming & dungeon crawling. I've sunk hours into it :D

Fragile is about 9 - 12 hours long. It does get a tad repetitive toward the end but the sheer emotion and atmosphere captivated me right from the get-go. Easily my favorite Wii game :D

Red Steel 2 is mega. It could do with being fleshed out more story-wise but the actual gameplay is truly top-notch and a prime example of how much Wii Motion Plus brings to the existing controller.

I had the WMP inclusive bundle + Play.com pre-order bonus pack at launch; cost about £45 iirc but it was well worth it and definitely one of my favourite games of this year.
