Red Steel 2 is mega. It could do with being fleshed out more story-wise but the actual gameplay is truly top-notch and a prime example of how much Wii Motion Plus brings to the existing controller.

I had the WMP inclusive bundle + Play.com pre-order bonus pack at launch; cost about £45 iirc but it was well worth it and definitely one of my favourite games of this year.

i got the bundle recently for 11 from zavvi website, fired it up to test as i only really wanted to motion plus, and the intro is amazing! totally blown away, cant wait to get playing it properly. soooo much better than red steel 1

Thanks Megamixer and Fightersmegamix.

I think I may hold off for now, there are probably other Wii games more deserving of my time and money anyway. And I need to get into my DS gaming too.

Probably pick up NMH2 and TvsC at some point tho. TvsC really does look sexy, even though Tatsunoko is a mystery to me.

I'll stick up for NMH2. It is largely just the first game warmed over, but it does a pretty good job of sticking to the best bits, whilst replacing the more tedious elements with retro minigames, making them only necessary for optional upgrades rather than to progress with the challenge matches. The cut scenes are great, as in the first game, and the plot is as mental as ever.

That said, you'll probably be able to pick it up for a fiver in six months time so there's no rush.

I'll defo be going for NMH2 when it's sub ten quid - which by Wii standards means quite soon. That is one of the good things about Wii - marginal games are worth a punt as they are cheap

Has anyone played Donkey Kong Jungle Beat (new play control)? Completely forgot about this one & it's only fifteen quid online.

It's really short-lived - a few hours, tops - but really good fun too. I'd recommend getting to GameCube version with the bongos (to play it the way it was intended), but the Wii port is a more than adequate substitute.

try and pick it up at Game or Gamestation - I've seen pre owned mint copies for about 5 or 6 quid there. Agree that it looks fun.

Cool. Will check them out. :)

Batman Brave and the Bold is down to £13.99 at Gameplay. Hasn't that only just been released?

The NGamer review put me off by saying any enemy can be beaten by just bashing the A button & also you have infinite lives, but for that price i might give it a go :D

Yes it's true, but that could be said for the best beat 'em up's ever made. It really reminded me of Comix Zone, it looks fantastic and it's short and sweet! Not long enough for some people, perfect for me though. Bit on the easy side but again, no frustration just lots of fun!!! Bargain I would pick it up.
