Batman is well worth getting. I've been playing it tonight and its an excellent little scrolling beat em up. The Wii seems to have quite a few promising games coming out between now and Christmas - Goldeneye this week, Sonic next week and Donkey Kong Country at the start of next month. Can't wait for DKC as it looks excellent, I'm just gutted Kirby isn't out until next year over here :(

Finally picked up Mario Kart today with a wheel for £20. Steal.
Had a play at home and it is a riot in multiplayer. My wife really enjoys it too which is a huge bonus.

So, I have a good three or four Wii games to sit down and play tonight, that I bought ages ago. This should be good :D

I've really been trying to give Eledees some time and from what little I've played if it its such a charmer!!. Great use of the motion tech, looks to be a another brilliant game!

I've been far to detracted with Goldeneye 007 which is so good, just replaying the Dam and Facility section over and over and never getting bored. This game has way more to it than it might suggest if you just play through it like COD4 with the CCP (as I did). you miss all the cool little intricate details. Excellent game, and maybe even my personal GOTY and I was no expecting that! (My GOTY nomination is chock-o-block full of Nintendo titles, I bet that pisses some people off! haha, cos they just HATE Nintendo that much  )

GoldenEye 007 Wii gives the big boys a run for it's money because it's DIFFERENT to the typical bloody FPS war game, this has choices, much less linear in gfx and design than COD/BFBC games games and the different ways of playing and the guns/alternate fire modes just feel fantastic! If you are a fan of silenced weapons like me then you will love this!

If it were 720p instead of 480p it would pass for a current gen title I swear. This is coming from a huge GoldenEye fan. So in all said and one... it's a fantastic exclusive (only available on Nintendo Wii TM ;0) that heopfeully everyone will enjoy, just the motion controls take some getting used to.

A Boy and his Blob, Madworld, No More Heroes and Harvest Moon: Magical Melody. Should be pretty sweet.

I'm pondering whether or not to get a Classic Controller Pro, I don't really see a lot of point in getting a regular classic controller but I'd rather hold out for a white CCP if possible to match my wii/remote.

The thing is I can probably make do with my gamecube controllers and wii remote/nunchuck for most games for now, but I'm wondering would a CCP be necessary for Monster Hunter Tri should I get it without the controller? Anyone had experience with the remote controls for that game, are they as bad as everyone says?

Well, monster hunter comes with a classic controller bundle, so that should tell you a lot.

Yeah, but why couldn't they do a white bundle? :(

Pandering to the Sony/Microsoft crowd I expect.

Nintendo did release a black wii so it's probably the reason. Black controller and white console looks good, I have black covers for my wiimotes and they look fine. If you desperately want a white controller the standard classic works fine and is cheap now too.

I am a fussy get  , maybe I could live with a black one, or even a gold one. I should be getting Tatsunoko vs. Capcom soon so I'll see how the GC controller copes with that.

I bet you can get all colours in Japan, including red, I know they have the white ones there.

If anyone's interested to know I just got Tatsunoko vs Capcom and the Cube controller is working fine for me, you can edit the button layout how you want it too.

I think I saw that in Gamestation in their 'fun for a fiver' promotion.

From what I played of Eledees I wasn't too impressed (my nephew has it on his wii). If I remember rightly it's a light-gun style game where you shoot little thingies to gather electricity? I found it a little clunky and frustrating
