Hi all! I'm new around here. I've just registered, mainly to ask a question, if you don't mind.
With regard to the first letter in this month's (83) issue, the reply says "But the best part of all, though, was when you embarrassed yourself beyond riposte by suggesting that OutRun 2 is a game by Yu Suzuki".
When I read this, I had to immediately read it again to make sure I hadn't misunderstood. It had always been my understanding that OutRun 2 was a Yu Suzuki game. So, I went straight to Wikipedia. According to this page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yu_Suzuki#List_of_major_works, OutRun 2 is indeed a Yu Suzuki game. As we all know, Wikipedia isn't necessarily always correct, so I searched a little further. On sega-16.com, OutRun 2 is again listed in his gameography:
http://www.sega-16.com/feature_page.php?id=31&title=Sega%20Stars:%20Yu%20Suzuki. I still wasn't 100% satisfied, and was surprised to discover that Yu Suzuki has an entry on IMDB. His IMDB page lists him as both the Director, and the Producer of OutRun 2:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0962779/.
I am now convinced that OutRun 2 is indeed a Yu Suzuki game. But, at the same time, I find it odd that Retro Gamer would make such a mistake. What gives?
I love the mag by the way. I'm a Sega fan at heart, and a huge fan of the works of Yu Suzuki. I know you guys have been trying to get an interview with him for a while, and I'm not giving up hope yet!
I do miss "Why you must play" though. Any chance of it returning to the mag?

Gaming since 1979...
