Meeting Jeff Minter! He gave me an absolutely cracking interview (will be up on youtube later) and has invited me up in the New Year. Can't wait.

So based on the votes so far, can anyone tell me why we spent 3 days setting up equipment for this event?

Could only vote for one thing so i voted for meeting up with fellow forumites. Did have a few chats with the celebs this time which was pretty good but overall there was a ton of things to do, lots of people to meet, was superb

NOT FAIR. I'd love to meet Jeff Minter and touch his sheep. He actually lives dead close to me, but he ignored both the mails I ever sent him suggesting a nice cup of tea and a sit down together. Perhaps I shouldn't have mentioned the sheep touching

I gather Flossie is monogamous, so you're probably out of luck there.

If you'd got yourself to R3PLAY you'd have had the opportunity.

The Yak Yak forums have occasional get togethers, perhaps they'll be closer to home?

There's always REPLAY 2011. I've come to realise that just £30 a month put aside will pay for it. Not much really when you break it down across a year. Fingers crossed its around the 5th November again, after my daughter's wedding.

I know, but it was impossible - it wasn't money or anything like that.

I'm actually a little bit scared of Jeff Minter, so somewhere like Replay would have been ideal... safety in numbers and all ;)
