Hope it's ok if I post this here, it's not exactly a website, but a long online article that I put a lot of time into. The first part (of three) was just published on Gamasutra, titled "Where Games Go To Sleep - The Game Preservation Crisis". The highlight of the whole article (which is in the third and final part but is written about briefly in part one) is how 14 different developers, out of the 61 I contacted, reveal how they're preserving thier video games. Some developers reveal what they've saved, but also what games they've actually lost.
The second part details how museums are doing thier part in preserving games, and even a little segment about how I failed in gathering interest in a Japan-based video game museum.
The second and final third part will be published in the next several weeks before GDC
