I'm happy to meet anyone for a couple of pints Thursday, but I'm not staying out as:

1) I've got a test on Friday so need a clear head/have to study, and;

2) It'll ruin my diet ;)

Point 2 reminds me: I need to eat, so if anyone fancies grub we could perhaps do that for a bit then a couple of pints somewhere? (or vice versa).

I have no idea where anything is here, it just seems like a mass of streets in random directions. For reference, I'm staying at the Queens hotel next to the rail station.

I might well be up for a pint on Thursday too.

btw, I'll just reiterate what the others have said - Arcadia is fantastic, best shop in Leeds. GameStation is usually worth a look, and Grainger Games isn't too bad either. The outdoor market is often a good spot to find a few games too.

And for drinks I love The Wardrobe.

Would be up for this but Thursday is the one night this week I probably can't do, clearing out a house during the day. I might be free from 17:00 depending on how much I get done. I'll keep an eye on this thread. A real shame because if I were in work Overheat's Wardrobe is literally 1 minute from my office (in Quarry House)!!! :D

Popped into Arcadia at dinner time, loads of retro in there at the moment especially Megadrive and SNES. There's even some Jap Megadrive, I was really tempted by an unboxed copy of Phelios. There was also a couple of Neo Geo AES games and a stick.

Sorry to hear you can't make Thursday if that's the case. It doesn't have to be early, the whole evening is free.

One of the locals had best mark a time and place so it can be agreed on.

Well, I'll say this much for Leeds, it seems well stocked with well dressed fit lasses ;)

I must be looking my age these days. Not one of the girls touting for strip club business gave me a card on the way back from the restaurant.

So, where/when is it to be lads?

I reckon we should meet at the Slug & Lettuce (at 6pm) as that is pretty close to where your hotel is.

Who is coming? I know me, Ant and Scapegoat are.

Slug and Lettuce at 6pm it is then.

Just the 3 of us I suspect, as gmintyfresh can't make it.

Was good fun. Pity I had to drive as I could have stayed in that last place for hours trying all the ales and watching the darts.
