Konami giving the dreary MGS franchise preference over banging out an all-inclusive arcade machine mega compilation of undisputable super quality makes me want to go round to Mr Konami's house and jolly well biff him on the chin.

There's the DS arcade compilation.

I've got that, but it's nowhere near as big as a "big" console compilation could be. Also, Track & Field on the DS? Nah. Gradius is awkward too. A 360/PS3 compilation of 20 or more games, in the vein of the Sega Megadrive Collection, would be amazing. And Konami, to my knowledge, has never released a particularly comprehensive compilation (although with their back catalogue, that could be difficult).

It's funny how different people like different MGS games, I personally thought the first game was ok but thoroughly overrated, I really enjoyed MGS 2 and played through that quite a few times, I haven't played MGS 3 yet and I loved MGS 4 despite heavy cut-scenes, it's just an epic game. Though I don't think I want to play them again any time soon.

Silent Hill is a series I've never cared for. ZOE? ...just no.

Konami's MGS and Silent Hill series seem to be 2 of the most 'marmite' ones i know.

Friend of mine loved MGS2 (1st in series he played), so i lent him my G.C and MGS:Twinsnakes, thinking he'd love that, he hated it!, yet he loved MGS3. As for 4, played it completition, some moments of genius in there, but by god did creator not seem to want player to auctualy play much-Even the cut scenes had cut scenes!.

Silent Hill? well as far as Team Silent games go, for myself 2 was the pinnicle, with 3, bigger creatures needing automatic weapons etc, something was lost i felt...

How about none?!

How about none because I have them all on PS2. All great series though.

Konami have already released a Silent Hill collection on PS2 (also missing out Silent Hill 1), it's pitiful that they could fluff it up so badly again. The PS3 can actually play PS1 games, so I wonder where the problem lies in including Silent Hill 1, unless it's a prob about converting the code for the 360???

Not only that, the original PS1 Silent Hill was a 'keeper' type of game, so it's pretty scarce to get hold of, especially these days - I'm sure that fans who began their experience of the series with Silent Hill 2 or 3 or The Room or whatever would be pretty curious to play the first game (even the PAL vers. with the censored 'teddy-babies'!) and it would be appropriate for a collection to have the 'full set' as it were, rather than omit one of its greatest entries. Consider me perplexed.

^I agree heartily. Sam Fisher is far cooler than Solid Snake ever was, plus the decision to get Michael Ironside to do his voice was truly inspred. :D

Also, I'd agree with all the other posters who crave a huge compilation pack of their old arcade games - I can't understand why this has never happened???

DS pack is decent but pretty slim on games you *really* want to play (and, yes, Gradius on it is mega-fiddly to play, not good).

None of them, I'd prefer a Goemon collection - why hasn't this happened yet?

And why aren't those wonderful PSP compilations they put out available on PS2 or the "big" consoles?

Interested in all of them I wish though they would release a complete set with all the games in the series in. You don't see them releasing the Alien Quadrilogy box set with Alien missing.

Out of the three ZOE, mainly as i never played the first one and didn't know there was a sequel until a few months ago.

There should be a "None" option to select. I don't like MGS, and I've got all the Silent Hill games I want. And I'm not sure what Zone of The Enders is to be honest! I'd be more excited if they were releasing a collection of their classic arcade games.

I've gone with MGS but all of them really. Shame about the first parts of the series not getting the offing but can sort of see why. They'd probably need a lot of work on the engines and given the way they're released it'd be too much effort for next to no gain.

None of the above, unless there was a Silent 1 HD Remake and a English GBA Silent Hill Translation..

I have all the Silent Hill games on Original for the PS2, obviously Origins and the Hill 1 aren't going to be included

Zoe never played it

Metal Gear only the first one was any good.. Again if Twin Snakes or the Nes/MSX/GB Metal Gears I'd be interested

Personally I'd rather have a game compliation with Suprise Attack, Violent Storm, Aliens(Liscensing problems but I wish), Crime Fighters, Vendetta, Haunted Castle, Pooyan, Twin Bee to name a few

Yeah, Konami really do need to get a comprehensive collection of their arcade games together for home consoles. The Gradius/Salamander/Castlevania collections on PSP were all great, as was the DS collection.

I'd say a HD remake of the original Silent Hill is well overdue as well.
