Incoming Konami collections

Will probably buy all three but looking forward more to ZOE as its the least known to me.
Not really bothered anymore at the fact that MGS1 is missing seeing how bad Twin Snakes was.

:? WTF? Konami are re-casting the voice actors for Silent Hill 2+3!-No, Bad Konami, Very bad.Leave it as is!. Why are they doing this?.....Not happy...

Most the voices in Silent Hill 2 were terrible and desperately need this tbh.

I'd hazzard a guess that Konami may be thinking SH1 did get a remake-In terms of Silent Hill:Shattered Memories and a prequel (Origins) so for the moment, no need to do further update to it, where as S.H 2, other than the extra content on Xbox, then PS2 re-release and SH3 remained untouched by comparison to this point.

Could well be totally off the mark....but would at least have some logic behind it.

Don't see it that way myself, but case of what works for 1 person, not going to work for another.My gripe with the re-cast? It's not going to feel the same.Spent hours on SH2 on both PS2+Xbox, very character driven games, now they are going to sound different?, not liking it.

Why not wait and see how it sounds before writing it off? Maybe you'll like the change. After all, if you really want everything to remain the same, you might as well just stick to the original, no?

As fondly as I remember James's stilted delivery of lines like "What are you talking about? Aren't you ... Maria?", I'm still interested to hear new take on it. Always thought Maria's voice acting worked pretty well though.

I agree - be criminal to change 'Maria's' voice actresses, I also though the original voice cast was very good and added to the astmophere.. I'd be more impressed if Konami inclkuded Maria's game born from wish as a extra and extended it in length... Rather then a lazy rehash of a preciously done compilation with the most expensive games Silent Hill 1, Born from a Wish (SH Directors cut) and Origins missing, and no freebies like which came with Silent Hill 2.. But they have new voice acting so its a must buy

They ruined Caslevania by changing the voices/dialogue for the 360/PSP

Already explained why to myself, it won't be the same, hours spent on 2 versions of the game, the making of SH2 extra DVD that came with PS2 SH2, add to that the lost memories DVD etc.The characters are meant to be flawed!, it's the very flaws, insecurities etc that make them interesting.Whole concept of Silent Hill is average people with things to hide/come to terms with drawn to the town.

Also, every Silent Hill that Team Silent has'nt been involved in, for my own personal enjoyment, has been weaker.Climax etc just not the same.

I want the HD versions in same way i'd buy a DVD remastered copy of a fav.VHS tape film-Looking forward to picture touched up etc, but no major changes.

Still, whats the worse that could happen? They rope in Sean Bean to voice James?

Would MGS be the same if Snake suddenly had a different voice actor? Konami given any reason/logic for changing the voices, yet including little in way of true bonus material?
