Scart to RGBS + audio

Postby lavalyte on Mon Jun 13, 2011 8:57 am

Does anyone know a supplier who makes a Scart plug that would let you plug in RGBS + L/R audio rcas?

Not component, I need something more.

SCART is only going to give you component signals anyway isn't it? When you say "I need something more" are you talking about better picture quality?

If you can tell us what you're trying to do and which bits of kit you're trying to hook-up there will almost certainly be an adaptor or box out there for you - if you're relying purely on whatever your SCART connection can output then you'll probably be able to make up your own connector at the other end anyway.

HTH :)

I have an MD1/MCD/32X combo which I have to plug in a headphone jack to get any sound - it goes to a 2.1 system with a nice sub so it sounds lovely, but sometimes it'd be nice if I just got sound from the TV too!

He might have meant composite, as sometimes SCART cables are wired up to only give composite signals, which defeats the whole point of SCART.

What I mean is I need a multi-rca input to scart output cable, where the inputs are rgbs + audio.

I think that's RGB + stereo audio.

Probably component + stereo.

Also, expensive! sheesh.
