i picked up call of duty 4 modern warfare on the 360 for £1.99 yesterday from age concern, real gem of a find (even though i only bought it to trade in at gamestation as i already have it). what i found really weird was that it was next to a big box pc version of tomb raider 2 and that was a fiver :?: not sure who prices these up

state of emergency
eggomania
black and bruised
eyetoy play 3
soul calibur 2
pinball hall of fame - gottlieb

all 99p each in a buy one get one free (so 50p each really)

smackdown v raw 2006
smash court tennis
both 49 p in a buy one get one free (so 25p each)

so 8 ps2 games for a grand total of £3.50

2 brand new still sealed Nokia N-gage games 50p each. I don't have an N-gage but it would have been rude not to pick them up at that price

GS have gotten really bad recently at making it clear when games don't come with the manual. Surprising, because Game are very good with that. I've bought a number of GC/Wii games from GS and not realised they didn't come with instructions until I've got them home and opened them up.

Also, good find with SMB Deluxe. I'm surprised that the staff didn't pilfer that as they seem to with virtually everything else that's any good or worth any cash. That's why there's never anything but old FIFA games knocking about in there.

I must admit i was surprised to see the quality of the GB/C stuff on the shelf. I couldn't get it to the till quickly enough.

You're right about the non manual thing...there was absolutely NO mention of it being missing whatsoever. I'd normally have picked up on it in the shop...but i was too distracted by my Gameboy 'finds'!

Ah well, live and learn.
