I think finishing the first Tomb Raider was a major highlight for me....i loved putting the hours into that game and finding all the secrets....although the ending was possibly the biggest anti climax i've ever experienced. Bitter-sweet then, huh?

i will forever smile when i think of it!

Reading 80's mag Joystick's strategy guide on Dragon's Lair, then beating the game at Aladdin's Castle and getting the applause of all the onlookers.

Finally getting my own copy of GTA III for the Ps2, after having to share turns with 3 other people at my friends house for a month. I played that game non-stop for the first 7 days, Thank goodness i was sick of High school, and was wagging like a deliquent.

After getting divorced and having been completely cleaned about by my ex-wife (had to sell my gaming stuff to get by), eventually scraping together enough cash to buy a 2nd hand N64 with Goldeneye and Ocarina of Time. Playing Zelda on a tiny old portable TV in my empty flat bought me a lot of much needed happiness :D

I have many moments but to name a few ...

you have two parts in the first Last Ninja games (C64) first level, one part is where you have to pixel perfect jump over a smal river on smal stones, it drove me mad sometimes and i almost "killed" my fat tv with my Boss joystick! But when i figured out exactly how to jump i went briefly to heaven.
The other part was when i solved the mystery on how to go safetly past the firebreathing dragon at the end of the level. One felt like a true master ninja! ...but i always bugged me on why ninjas died by falling in to a little lakes! XD

Beat the mother brain in the first Metroid game on Nes! It was real magic working there! and when the space battle suit whent off!)

Gradfually beating each of the Streets of Rage 2 difficulty...then being given a Code for Maniac Mode...that was like being given the keys to my first car (which happened only last month, lol).

No, I still haven't beaten that mode either...although I have come mighty close (Stage 7).

In GTA Vice City when i had to kill a mafia boss on the golf course, he jumps in a golf cart and you have to chase him as he drives to the exit. Once he gets to the exit he jumps into his car and you then have to chase him in a car yourself. After failing the mission a few times i accidentally drove my golf cart into his as he was driving past a lake on the golf course and his cart rolled over and he fell into the lake and drowned. Felt great because i wasn't expecting that at all!

Yeah that was a great Vice City mission. It would also have been cool if you could have played golf at the course.
Rockstar should have included that as an easter egg.

Wow theres been so many I would never know where to begin. Its been great reading everyone elses though.

Ill have a stab anyway.

Some epic matches on formation soccer (pce) with my bro in law, and tennis matches on final match tennis. Which I always won.

Some epic matches on super tennis with one of my best pals, we could not be seperated. I either got hammered or hammered him!

Some weekend gaming sessions with pals which lasted from friday after school until sunday evening, without sleep of course.

The PC engine.
