Col. John 'Hannibal' Smith: General Tuco, you are currently engaged in unauthorized warfare on United States Military Personnel.
General Javier Tuco: No no no no no no, you engaged me!
Col. John 'Hannibal' Smith: Repeat, you are engaged in unauthorized warfare on United States Military Personnel... over United States airspace.
General Javier Tuco: What?
Col. John 'Hannibal' Smith: Alpha. Mike. Foxtrot! In other words,Templeton 'Faceman' Peck joins in: Adios Mother F*cker!
General Javier Tuco: Oh, no...

Centurion: What's this, then? "Romanes eunt domus"? People called Romanes, they go, the house?
Brian: It says, "Romans go home. "
Centurion: No it doesn't ! What's the latin for "Roman"? Come on, come on !

...[agonising and impenetrable latin lesson] .....

Centurion: Now, write it out a hundred times.
Brian: Yes sir. Thank you, sir. Hail Caesar, sir.
Centurion: Hail Caesar ! And if it's not done by sunrise, I'll cut your balls off.

Come see the violence inherent in the system, help! help! I'm being oppressed

I totally forgot about this thread. I've also got to say the Blade Runner one,

"I've.....seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire of the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams, glitter in the dark at Tennhauser Gate. All those moments...will be lost....like tears in the rain.

Time...to die."

mainly because it's brilliant.

Oh, dear, so many movies, so little time.

"You're a funny guy, Sully, I like you. That's why I'm going to kill you last."

"Where's Sully?"
"I let him go."

"I eat Green Berets for Breakfast! And right now, I'm VERY hungry!"

"Please don't disturb my friend. He's dead tired."

That's Commando out of the way.

Moving swiftly along...

"Suicide squad... Attack! >Stab< Ha, that showed them!"
"You silly sods..."

"Crucifixion's a doddle."

"Vewy Well! I shall welease... Bwian!"

Trying desperately to think of something a bit more obscure...

We could have a whole section on TV edits and how they ruined certain moments of films. "Yippee Ki-Ay Mr Falcon", for example.

Not exactly, quotable, but one of the great openings. The whole scene is immense.

Bonasera - "I believe in America. America has made my fortune. I raised my daughter in the American fashion; I gave her freedom, but taught her never to dishonor her family. She found a boy friend, not an Italian. She went to the movies with him, stayed out late. Two months ago he took her for a drive, with another boy friend. They made her drink whiskey and then they tried to take advantage of her. She resisted; she kept her honor. So they beat her like an animal. When I went to the hospital her nose was broken, her jaw was shattered and held together by wire, and she could not even weep because of the pain.

"I went to the Police like a good American. These two boys were arrested and brought to trial. The judge sentenced them to three years in prison, and suspended the sentence. Suspended sentence! They went free that very day. I stood in the courtroom like a fool, and those bastards, they smiled at me. Then I said to my wife, for justice, we must go to the Godfather."
"Very soon our luck will change, we'll do what we need to do to win matches, and we'll fly."

Ah, the first Godfather movie. A classic all the way. Here's one from the Chuck Norris film Firewalker that I started to watch last night:

"I just know the first thing he says when he gets here is 'So, Gentlemen. We Meet Again!"
"So, Gentlemen. We Meet Again!"
"Told You!"

"In the meantime, I got this plan. It's called "Save Ass". And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard."

Assault on Precinct 13. I laughed so hard when I heard that.

"Operation Save Ass" became a well used phrase for being selfish in our lexicon after watching that film.
