Hey folks,

I didn't want to just join up and spam this thread straight away, but now that I've been here a while and been pointed in this thread's direction...

I've got a blog called A Gamer Forever Voyaging. It started off as A Game A Day, with the intention of playing and writing about all the games a mate had given me in a clearout, in an attempt to justify keeping them to my missus! I stuck to the game a day format until we had a surprise addition to the family! I haven't got time to commit to a game a day now, so the name has changed, and so has the aim in some ways.

So the updates may not be as regular, but I try and get something out there pretty often. I've got just over 400 posts on there at the moment, ranging from the Atari VCS/2600 through to the XBox 360, with all sorts in between. I'm currently doing an Andrew Braybrook C64 retrospective... if you click on the link, the most recent post which went up today is on Paradroid.

Hope that some of you enjoy it!

Lemon Amiga are happy to announce that we can finally be found on YouTube. Our channel LemonTubeAmiga is open to all members who may submit their Amiga (or Commodore) related videos - this could include tutorials, tips, group meets, gaming sessions, you name it!

Lemon Amiga Site Intro video

How popular this channel is depends on the community - it's intended for everybody to upload videos as they see fit. As you can see there are already a few videos on the channel but we will need more as time goes on -check the thread on Lemon for more details on how to submit.

As well as this, we can now be found on Facebook too, for those of you who are that way inclined. This page will be used to keep everyone up-to-date with site news such as updates, new polls, games competitions and of course any new material for the aforementioned YouTube channel. So please add us as a friend and do spread the word amongst your friends too.
Lemon Amiga is now on YouTube and Facebook!

Hey kids, I've hocked this before, but am keen to get involved in the blogging community. My site is:

http://theotherrandomnamewastaken.blogspot.com/

It's a bit of a pop-culture journal, in theory. In reality, I've been using it as a platform for my love of 2D fighters amongst other games. Join on in, if you're interested see if we can get something going here.
Misc: A blog about video-gaming, mostly, but with none of the redeeming features.

Hey all, my own site on Retro soccer gaming.

http://www.retrobola.com

It has just started off, so it is a work in progress ;) But we aim to patch the games, offering updating teams. Currently have a legends project for ISSD & World Cup Striker. Also looking into netplay with these games.

I ignore SWOS and Kick Off as they are already well known.

I/We do support International Superstar Soccer Deluxe, J.League Excite '96, J.League Dream Stadium '96, World Cup Striker, J.League Prime Goal 3.

And looking into the world of Soccer Management games for the SNES. The one we are likely to choose is Kevin Keegan's Player Manager. But we are finding it difficult to locate a manual. And are still reviewing other games.

Got to pimp ourselves a bit here really haven't I?
But yeah, Chips (the independant retro games shop) has a Facebook and Twitter now that I run.

It's more often just general chatter about retro games and goings on than it is about deals and offers, but there is that too, obviously. Got loads of nice photos and that up too. We also try to give a little back to fans too with discounts, prizes and support of outside projects such as MohicanKid's lucky dip and the ZeldaGamesAid charity marathon.

Ahh, shameless self promotion!!

We just started our retro gaming site about a month ago: http://www.thehookshot.com

It keeps things light and entertaining and focuses more on the different aspects of each game/console. Less about game reviews and the history - more about the games themselves! We're definetly trying to build an audience, so check it out!

Ok, self promotion is over :)

I've been holding off "launching" this site on the forum as I've been waiting for it to be just right, but I suspect that time will never come.

So I humbly submit for your consideration - http://www.retrogamesnow.co.uk - a retro games site focused on 80's arcade, console and personal computer games, as well as my mission to build a MAME cabinet, and build a google map of the retro games stores in the UK.

Any feedback will be very welcome, but go easy on me this is my first proper attempt at a website!

I might as well throw my hat in the ring. My own site:
http://www.retrogameage.com/
I update every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and sometimes everyday of the week if I'm doing a featured week. I've been in a bit of a bubble for the entire year as I stuck to my schedule and I figure it's about time I got out there and interacted with the rest of the retrogaming community. Feel free to leave any feedback as it's much appreciated.

I've been searching out Retro Gamer mags at local B&Ns here in the states for over a year. Love it. I grew up playing the Commodore 64 and just started my own blog looking back at retro sports games of yesteryear.

High quality NES and SNES Maps made from screen shots

Postby snesmaster on Tue Nov 15, 2011 4:12 am

Hi, I create maps for various NES and SNES games and run two websites where I post all the maps I have created so far.

I create the maps by taking screen shots of the games and stitching them together in Photoshop. Then I will add in the enemy and items locations. I have mapped out games such as Zelda, Super Mario Bros., Metroid, Super Metroid, multiple Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior games, Chrono Trigger, Marble Madness, Contra and many more.

In addition to the maps I also have sprites available for many of the games. Posters of some of the more popular games are also available.

Let me know what thoughts you have on these sites.

Nice site! Looks like we both went for the Arras blue theme in Wordpress, great format for highlighting retro game graphics.

The custom background works well, I am going to try and find something fitting for my blog.

Keep it up!
