The partial screenshot made it tough, but it's Reckless Rufus on the Speccy. Very different layout to the CPC version. Just as frustrating though I've no doubt.

Looks sufficiently garish to be an Amstrad game.

Not sure what it is, but a little interested in it despite that. Radar suggests some Defenderish action.

It's multi-screen Space Invaders style, with defender radar. :D

I suppose you could say it's a cross. Bit of both. Enemies patterns are not fixed, but your shooter is fixed to the bottom like an Invaders clone. The multiscreen with radar does give it a defender feel, but without the freedom.
