Awesome!! What type of car have you gone for? :)

Nothing fancy, just a Y reg (2001) Fiesta. 1.3l, alloys, 5 doors, no dents/rust/scratches/damage on it at all. Interior's really nice condition and it's only done 75k which is decent for an 11 year-old motor. I was really pleased with it's condition actually :)

Couldn't really afford to splash out on anything newer because of the insurance for somebody of my age being sky-high. Can't wait to pick it up!

Ditto that one buddy, I'm just about to hit 21 and my insurance is still about £800 a year (that's after 2 years with no claims). It's only this year I splashed out a bit and traded my Corsa for something a bit nicer :oops:

My insurance was just over 2k :( . Paid it all off in one go or else it would have been roughly £400 more factoring in the interest on monthly repayments...

Holy censored on a wild duck :shock: :shock:

When I first started driving it was £1800 for the first year, that was only two years ago

I paid £1400 on a 1.4 Renault 19 when I passed my test 10 years ago. The monthly payments took half my part time wages :lol:

You've done the right thing though Megamixer. Nice small car to start with whilst you build some NCB.

I paid £1000 to insure a 1.3 VW Golf, around 11 years ago. For one reason or another I've never had more than a year or so of no claim discount. I had my first proper accident last year so I'm not looking forward to renewal. Not one bit.

I've also decided I need to stop buying cheap motors and wazzing money on them trying to soup them up, saving up a handy amount (say, 3 or 4k) and buy something proper nice to start with. Current fancy is a JZA70 Supra TwinTurbo;

Though I also want to do an adult apprenticeship as I'm weary of dead end jobs and having not enough money to have stuff like Supra Twin Turbos, so it's gonna be a few years yet. :(

Looked all over town for that new Final Destination movie in 3D but had no luck, instead settled with Captain America in 3D. Here's hoping it's enjoyable

Wonderful little bundle there, nice bargain :D
Been after one of those for years and years and years, hope you enjoy it!

On Tuesday, I got the Beano Book 1963 from a 2nd-hand shop in Manchester. They wanted £15, and I got it for £5 because I was buying around £20 worth of other stuff at the same time. Happy days.

I have just now ordered a new computer ATX case and some case fans, cramming everything into a micro-ATX wasnt one of best ideas and things are starting to overheat a little now :cry:
