I've not preordered the bundle that comes with the second circle pad, I'd love to try it out to see how it plays with it but I've not had any control related problems with the game so I'm not really that bothered at the mo I guess.

Ive been playing the demo some more and the hell difficulty you get for clearing the game literally transforms the game into something new, it's bloody hard! New enemy placements and less items to pick up makes this really challenging but really fun to play still.

Makes the question of what the hell were Nintendo thinking not adding a second pad even more important.

Got to be a 3DS lite with a built in second pad.

Given how much I paid on launch for the 3DS after Nintendo's whole "we're not gonna release an updated version" spiel, if that happened I'd be very unlikely to ever but another Nintendo console on launch. It's a pretty significant upgrade, to alter what you have with a handheld console to control it.

Hmmmm, getting the itch to buy one of these again.

Someone posted an ad locally selling a boxed red 3DS with Starfox and Fifa 12 for £100. Don't know what condition it's in though, plus I told myself I'd wait until the usual hardware revision. :|

That's a no-brainer to me. Also, remember that it's highly likely you'll be able to get all the Ambassador games with this £100 3DS, rather than with a revision in, what, a year's time. I'd be all over that!

Wasn't the ambassador thing for 3DS's registered ages ago? My guess is this is probably a Christmas present someone got bored of.

Red isn't my preferred colour either, not that that's a big issue.

Played Starfox today, cracking port with excellent 3D and some lovely texture work. Really nice new music too and it controls very well.

^ I've not hammered it for hours, but 6/7 hours in and I'm on Chapter 6, it's starting to remind me in places of Dead Space - especially how each section is split into a chapter. There are some other similar bits as well, it might be coincidence but it's got that similar feeling. I don't want to tell you about the bit I did last night as it will spoil it but believe me when I say there are some fantastic moments. The graphics in places look amazing as well in context of the hardware spec.

I had that during the summer. Honestly, I'd say it's a good buy at £7. No multiplayer modes and just the one season, but it's the most accessable American Football game I've ever played - it's lack of features means it doesn't suffer from the typical Madden trait of being incredibly bloated - and the use of 3D hasn't been bettered too many times on 3DS so far. Hell of a soundtrack, too.

You got it yet buddy? I've just done a horrible boss battle - until I figured out how to proper use the dodge move, and then it was all under control! Seriously - dodge is the key to victory!

I'm out of the house until the evening so I won't have a chance to try it before tonight :( Got Friday off though so I'll be playing it a lot over the long weekend

I'm 9 hours in now, doing maybe an hour a night. I bet you finish it before I do knowing the rate at which you play your games!
I'll be up for some co-op 'raid' mode though :)
