Ive got all that on DVD also (think someone here kindly gave it me) - sad!!

It amazes me how many of the toys I owned and the thing which most shocks me is the casio keyboard I owned which cost £129.99 in 1985- my parents were not that well off and ive no idea how much that really cost back then!

But yeah when you see some of the prices and how much our parents earned back then, top marks to them !

The thing I used to love about Argos back in those days was that you used to be able to buy toys a lot more easily. If you wanted to buy anything from a particular range, each one had it's own catalogue number - none of this "assortment" crap they have these days so you have to arrange to view what they have before you buy anything so you know what they have in stock.

Great stuff! I also bought the DVD but have since misplaced it so good to see these scanned on. Who knew that when we were flicking through these catalogues as kids, looking for our christmas pressies that we'd want to look at them again in the future, strange but very heart warming.

Are there any scans of catalogues from the 90s? It really took me back when I saw those jewellery pages - they hadn't changed ten years later!
