Wierd window that one with Spurs. Pienar gone despite us hardly ever having a fit midfield, Bassong gone despite us spending most of the season with barely two centre backs fit and Saha coming in despite us not using Geo Dos Santos or Coulibaly ever. I guess you can say he's coming in to be the Pav 3rd choice but still frustrating, thank the Gods the Defoe thing was bull or I'd say 'Arry was deliberately sabotaging the side as he settles into jail.

bit disappointed to see pav go, he had the talent, but just never seemed to settle. Or get picked

Saha obviously a short term signing, probably will get injured and not play at all! The need to get shot of GDS though!

No it's not just you, on the radio last night they said it would have a new look in the morning. I agree it looks hideous.

i had doubts about friedel and gallas coming in when they did, but they have proved invaluable as short-term stop gaps.

i don't know if coulibaly is eligible to play (can't remember why not, it's something i read awhile back), and pav wanted to leave to get into the russia squad for the euros. i don't imagine saha or nelsen will get much game time, in the same way as bassong or pav did.

however, there do appear to be a few too many stop-gaps appearing for my liking.
