Today I started my "new" weight training routine....

I downloaded Bob Hoffman's Barbell Training (and a few other books) from the 50's (and before) and read them the past few days. Printed out a few routines and can honestly say I did about 4 out of the 15 exercises and feel fubar'd! Had to tweek a few of them for safety reasons, a lot of the stances are dubious and I could feel twinges in my back, but followed them as close as possible (weight, set and reps)....

I've always considered myself fit enough to do most weight routines but Jesus, people in the 40's/50's/60's were either all goofed off their tittys on over the counter "medicines" or were just super strong and people have forgotten this unique training regime!

In training for Scunthorpes Strongest Man Competition so going to give it a month and see what happens...if I survive!

Been to the Sherwood one a few times and going again in March, I reckon it's a pretty decent place to go for a short break.

Today after being in a bloody good mood all day I get home to find out my grandmother is in a coma in hospital.

Dont mean to sound crewel, but its best if she just ends.
She has way to meany health problems.

(To bad her house is in a really censored area of Manchester)

And Speedlolita. Unless I've missed something, they posted 4 billion posts a day each for about a year and then buggered off.

Slow and steady. Post too often and you'll burn out quick.
