Yep, when all else fails always, and despite everything that's been said, be sure to try playing the victim card as a last desperate resort. You never know, some out there may not have noticed all your posts in this and other threads and therefore be gullible enough to be taken in by your weak and painfully transparent ploy.

I guess you missed the other threads where he totally lost the plot and starting going mental at me and took offense to posts that were not even in reply to him or had anything to do with him?

Even when it was pointed out by others he didn't apologise and played the innocent.

As I said I have no wish to involve myself in futher arguments here. The OP asked me for my recommendations and I gave them so I played my part in this thread.

I started a new thread free of petty arguing to discuss the other stuff myself and others were talking about.

I am not playing the Victim at all.

I am simply stating that several members predicted this and have been proven 100% right.

There is no ploy here, its simply an observation of how you seem to treat new members.

From the general theme of PM's, and there have been a few, you two seem to be the forum equivalent of the Village idiots.

Yep, when all else fails, always, and despite everything that's been said, be sure to try playing the "innocent" card as a last desperate resort. Also, add in heapings of sarcasm to really help your case. You never know, someone out there may not have noticed all your posts in this and other threads and therefore be gullible enough to be taken in by your weak and painfully transparent ploy.

"Using sarcasm as an alternative to arguing your point" still makes you look like a douche.

You mean when he disagreed with your opinion that the Lynx version of Double Dragon is better than the SMS version, and you decided that his opinion was wrong, much as you did with my suggestion that "Jag Rayman isn't best Rayman" in this thread? Nope, I definitely read that one. I don't blame him getting angry, what with you essentially saying his opinion was wrong. (Which, by the way, is another thing to put on the list.)

I offered a difference of opinion that is also somewhat based on fact because after all there is no denying that the Lynx version of Double Dragon is the most faithful 8-bit conversion of the game.

With regards to Rayman I was trying to point out that the Jaguar version can't be "missing" stuff if first of all it was the original version (which means the others added new stuff) and that it isn't the exact same game either so because of this is bound to missing stuff that isn't in the other versions. Its just like saying the NES Ninja Gaiden is missing stuff from the arcade game because it isn't the same game. But there we go, people read things differently and everyone has their own opinion on things as this forum always proves.

Yes, you are playing the victim by the way you've sought to retell what has been said. Your attempt at revisionist history, by the way you quite deliberately mention only certain things you've posted while omitting to mention the negativity you also posted, isn't fooling me.

To repeat, I can well imagine who those claimed 'several members' are and unless you're willing to name them then your claim is without merit.

Way to go for now stooping even lower than you already have by now resorting to ad hominem attacks. Classy.

Where did I say that :?

I work in a customer service based job where I listen to peoples differing opinions all day long so believe me when I say I don't need a forum to show me anything

You started it.

It's not really like that at all, though, is it? The NES Ninja Gaiden and the arcade version are completely different. The Jag and (say) PS1 versions of Rayman are more-or-less identical, in gameplay and in much of the level design. They're quite clearly the same game but with some differences, the main differences being that some levels and features that are present in the PS1 version are not in the Jag version.

Can the Jaguar Pro Controller still be found anywhere at all??

Regarding AvP, how on earth do you add your intials after a game has ended, it appears to add the name of the previous owner and have no idea how to clear his info of the game cart??

You see them on eBay from time to time and Nick Harlow @ http://www.1632systems.co.uk sometimes has them in stock, you could try Telegames too.

With regards to AVP you need to reset the cartridge - hold down "*" & "#" & Option when you boot the game up.
