Six Nations 2012

Good win for Wales today - best game of the weekend in my opinion by far.

Going to get some tickets to see next game in Cardiff.

Missed the Wales game,
England game was a bit dull apart from that Try in the second half that was just a WTF moment

Thought we'd blew it when Halfpenny missed with 5 minutes to go, luckily he managed to redeem himself. Made my weekend. :D

I can't believe the ref completely missed the way Ireland were interfering in the ruck for the whole first half! Most of the time the tackler didn't make any attempt to roll away. I guess someone must have said something at half time, 'cause the ref pinged Ireland twice for it in the second half. That spear tackle nearly ruined the game, but I'm glad Wales won in the end. Great game. Much better than the England-Scotland game.

If Wales can get a few more key players back from Injury i fancy us for the grand slam.

Absolutely. The final score didn't reflect the gulf between the way Ireland were playing and the way Wales were playing. Add in the disallowed try and all those penalties they missed and I think you have a much better reflection of how good Wales are this year. They just need to sort out their discipline.

I was glad to see new faces in the England team, and the end of the old boys and the same old faces who turned up game after game, who thought they were entitled to play for England forever.

Good to see Andy Farrell in the set up as well - maybe he'll show the Union chaps how to play the game properly...?

As long as that does not include scrummaging the league way then I'm inclined to agree

Ireland vs Wales was easily the best of the bunch, the best team by far won but were lucky to just get a yellow for the dangerous play, especially as it was completely off the ball.

France vs Italy pretty much and expected result, thought Italy held there shape well but still played a bit more attacking rugby than they usually do. The French unusually did not have a completely brilliant or completely diabilocal game, a bit of a mix of both being decisive where it mattered.

Decisive where it mattered was not something you could accuse Scotland of! Really should have beaten the inexperienced England. Mistakes a plenty from both teams but Scotland need a Tomtom (other makes avaialble) to find the tryline.

Heres to better games next weekend.

Very true, I agree! They are utterly pointless! (Well, they do have a point, but there is surely a less ridiculous way to restart play).

Only saw the Saturday games

Nice to see England's new look, big thanks to the Scots for shooting themselves in the feet repeatedly though....

Decent showing by Italy against a good French side

I only watched the Wales - Scotland game this weekend, but what a game!

I wasn't expecting Scotland to put up such a good defence, but in the end it was pretty much what I expected. Wales simply rolled over them, even when Scotland had possession in the first half, they just kept getting pushed back.

Wales desperately need to work on their line out though!

I said after we beat Ireland, we are looking at a Grandslam this year. I was drinking out of my 2008 Grandslam winners glass yesterday too, so good omen. France is my only fear. My wife works with Ken Owens mum too so happy to see him play.

If we keep lossing players to injury like we are i don't think Wales will have enough gas left in the tank. The Scotland game was an odd one. The last twenty minutes after they got there second man back after the sin binning they where all over us.

Credit to England for coming back, but they were fortunate with Italy's two awful penalty kicks in the closing stages, somewhat concearned about what Wales will do to us, really impressed with them, even in the 1st half it looked like it was only a matter of time before the flood gates opened and that was with scotland playing well.
