Name this toy?

Postby noobish hat on Thu Feb 16, 2012 9:25 pm

When I was a kid in the early 90s I had a set of chunky, brightly coloured plastic squares that fit together like a jigsaw. They had cogs and things on them, so you could arrange them so they made each other turn. Anybody know the name of this toy?

Did they have animal faces on them? And they fit onto a big board shaped like a train or something?

That's the idea, but not the same make. The ones I had were all different colours, and the edges were shaped like a castle wall, if you see what I mean. You could fit them together to make a cube if you wanted. There were no animal faces..

I had those when I was about three. They were called something like Gears-Go-Round or something.

Lol! I have a video of me unwrapping it on my birthday, right before my Thomas the Tank Engine quilt cover.

Ok, that needs to be uploaded immédiatement. In fact, we should make an entire thread of retro christmas unwrapping videos. I think it would be turbo popular.
