It's not so I don't need glasses, I'll still be wearing those, I've got changes at the backs of my eyes due to my diabetes so it's to try and clear those up.

Glad it went OK mate.

Just got back from a great weekend in Sheffield.

BUT yeah okay i'm a 'soft southern *****' but you northerners, unbelievable ! It was about -4 or 5 late on saturday night in Sheffield, about 2am in the morning, FREEZING, at the cashpoint the young lad in front of me in just a t shirt is shivering like mad, the girls (dont get me wrong, great to look at), were funny, freezing cold and theyre parading around in a tiny skirt and a tiny top, must have been frozen !

I had on a top/t shirt and coat and was still freezing, cold as anything plus with the wind it was a nightmare !!

God i'm sounding like my dad ! But honestly it was freezing.

Anyway saturday night we went to a cheesy 80's club which was amusing, then found some 'weird' 1920's swing type club (only went there as we were told it was open till 6am !), Harleys or something. Never been to something like that before, quite amazing seeing some of them dancing like its 1920 all over again.

Sunday night recovering from a huge hangover, had the usual chinese buffet and then onto see Noel Gallagher which was amazing. Great atmosphere, top concert, finally today came back home and tomorrow work. Think my mate must be the record holder of loudest/longest snoring ever, frickin ridiculous !

Was that a swing club or a swinger club? Those two letters could be critical.

Wife has just finished having flu/chest infection for nearly a week, kids have been unwell and had made the mistake in thinking I got away with it. Damn! Feel like sh1t. Still gonna try to go to work tomorrow though, too much hassle being off.

The Harley? It has a range of different nights, but if it was full of poser trendy types and near a tram stop then thats the place.

Today my wrists knackered, had my first keyboard lesson and have been practicing a few simple chords for a while after.

He PM'ed me a few months back, asking for my details, so he could post back the 360 DVD (with the dashboard update on it), that i lent him.

Soon after that, he stopped posting and i've yet to see the DVD back either (not that i need it).so hope he's ok.

Finally got round to replacing the wire for my Spectrum 48k PSU. No more wiggling the wire round like an idiot.

He does take ages to post stuf though...i've done a couple of trades with him, but had to do some serious nagging to get him to the PO.

Sad to hear that policeman who was blinded by that nutter Raoul Moat committed suicide. Poor bloke, had a good career then one incident changed it all, was blind, got a crap payout, his wife left him, very sad story.

Got my car in to get some stuff fixed on it today so pretty much playing the waiting game at the moment. Might as well use the time to get stuff done that I keep putting off/can't be bothered to do!
