I gave up on Space Marine for the time being. Not enjoying it as much as I thought I would. Gameplay is pretty straightforward and the characters are all pretty one dimentional in terms of what little story there is.

Instead I'm back playing Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 again. I deleted all my online progress and started to rank up again with a new team. Still really enjoying this (easily my favourite fighter of last year).

Zendoku (DS) - fun but WAY too easy, made it all the way through the Quest mode as Kingkage without even coming close to losing. But then I am pretty good at sudoku!

Started playing Marvel Vs Capcom 3 last night again too, I love the surprises in the game - some characters I expect not to be good are in fact amazing. Dante and Chris being examples for me. I love the completely over the top specials, the game is missing Venom though. I love the cameo of my favourite Marvel universe character in Dante's ending sequence.

I'm also playing through the DLC missions for Mass Effect 2 that I haven't completed yet - Lair of the Shadow Broker

Dante is pretty crazy, he has so many different special moves that I could never get used to him. After playing online a bit you get to see some pretty crazy combo's with him.

I miss the spidey villains as well. Venom would have been great Doctor Octopus was going to be included in the game but was cut and I'd personally love to see the Green Goblin included one day.

Started playing Motorstorm Apocalypse last night & there's certainly lots of 'things' happening on the screen whilst racing. Felt myself leaning forward trying to see what was going on.

Trying to get stuck into Rage, a lot of go here, do that, bring this back etc... Quite linear but fun.

Some more backloggery last night:

Silpheed: The Lost Planet (PS2) - not a bad game but it doesn't excite me. I'm never hugely into shmups but I also never learn and keep picking them up only to sell them straight away  . Chuck this on ebay I reckon.

BCV: Battle Construction Vehicles (PS2) - the story and dialogue in this game are mental. What's with the cockney accents slapped on top of a Japanese anime-styled game? The gameplay itself isn't too hot either so it's another game for the 'get rid of' pile.

Also reached 95% completion on Kirby's Epic Yarn last night so I should be able to mop up the last few challenges and 100% it tonight :)

I'm totally hooked on Peace Walker found on the MGS HD Collection. The co-op is very fun and I'm enjoying the main missions in single player as well. Great game overall. It's damn addicting finding and searching those soldiers to your private army.

Vanquish (after a trade)...just, wow.....totally mental, total fast, totally stupid...totally fun! I love it. Played it for an hour today and got into the second mission but the wife started moaning so had to turn it off. Its just a feast of proper run n' gun game play, looks amazing and besides some awkward cover moments a good game.

Also had a quick go and Ninja Blade, while it opens with a QTE and relays on these a little too much I found it enjoyable. But going to stick with Vanquish for now, I imagine it wont take me long to complete it, but while the ride lasts, enjoy it eh!

Spent the whole day playing Phantasy Star Online on xbox offline mode with my 2 brothers today. we played 8hours and defeated the first 2 bosses. I can honestly say it was the best game session ive had this year. Topped off with a takeaway.

Collected my 50th star on Mario Galaxy earlier, it was defeating Bouldergeist with one energy bar, took a couple of attempts.

Also taking a break from Metroid Prime Hunters and have gone back to finish off Soul Bubbles.
