Not as much as you'd think, to be honest, only really for the downloads and I've had a DSi since the first year they were out so my downloads have been spread out. As far as 3DS games go, I only paid £10 each for Rayman, Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars and Ridge Racer, and I've not paid more than £25-£30 each for the others. Doubt I'll be buying as much this year (depending on how much temp work I get whilst I'm still trying to get another full time job) but I'm a sucker for any bargains that I see whilst I'm out and about. :)

Anyhoo, if you (or anyone else) wants to add me onto their 3DS friend list, my code's 0473-7754-7089, just (obviously) give me a shout back with your own friend code too

Do want. :) I've got Seaman on the DC and had a lot of fun with it for what it was, even though it didn't want to listen to me properly every now and then....

'Have you had a good day?'
'NO!'
'I'm glad to hear that, mine was good too!'

Seaman always reminded me of the Python-headed fish in Monty Python's Meaning Of Life too.

Anyone having trouble getting onto the eShop? I just change providers to Sky Broadband (Hence why I've not been on here awhile) and while everything else can connect wireless to the Internet (Except my dad's PC) and all the other things like Spotpass and Internet are working, I keep getting an Error Code: 005-5964. Tried turning the 3DS on and off a few times, but still the same message. :/

Just tried the MGS3D demo....the controls are workable but not super stellar, but not bad enough to be too gripey about!

The game judders too much during cutscenes which ruins it for me...hoping that's just the demo build..

The 3D effect however is ASTONISHINGLY good, better then any 3D thing I've seen before, it has SO many layers in 3D its not even funny! Cracking!

Holy smokes! It's Super Monkey Ball 3D for £4.97!! Retro Gamer put the boot in, but I've always thought it was worth kinder words - and this is a price that you really can't go wrong with. It's just such a lovely-looking game that plays like a dream.

Picked this up after the tip-off, I love SMB games but i've heard pretty mixed things about this one and decided to wait till I saw it round a tenner. Its pretty good, tho i found a bit easy after completing all the other games (except for level 10-5 on Banana Blitz ARGH), but fun all the same. The 3D effect though - WOW. Best i've seen on the console.

This leads me to another slightly odd point - I can see the 3D now! Which isn't a shocking revelation, but for clarification, i've got wonky eyes and haven't been able to see ANY of the 3D effects since i've owned the console, just getting double images. But a week or so ago I flicked up the 3D switch 'just to check' and Resident Evil popped out at me. Or in at me technically. And now I can see all the other games in 3D! No idea what happened, maybe my eyes had to get used to it something

Apparently the frame rate is a bit more stable in the final build according to US gamers on IGN. It is comparable to the PS2 game they said.

Glad to hear folks picked up Super Monkey Ball 3D for a fiver. Keep an eye on Dixons online in the future - just a while back, they had Street Fighter IV 3D for the same price!

Tekken 3D is out like trout! I've just had my copy delivered from Shopto after ordering it yesterday afternoon (no, HMV, I don't want it for £39.99, particularly when you don't give me the instruction manual or Star Points with it, ya cheeky bastarts).

It looks the b*****ks, and runs much more smoothly in 3D than either DoAD or SSFIV3D. Unfortunately though, it suffers from the same, big problem as SSFIV3D did: all the characters are unlocked from the start, giving me very little incentive to play it in the single-player modes. Even worse so, Tekken 3D seems to lack a proper single-player mode, with Survival, Versus Battle and Online looking like the only options (that I can recall).

Still, Tekken has played the same way since 1998 - you already know if you like it or not!

Does anyone else have the Nintendo Zone update? I recieved it yesterday while in Glasgow. Can't find any European info on it...

I just downloaded Dillon's Rolling Western - it's very bizarre. Like a weird real-time Tower Defense game in 3D. Odd.
Also just received a letterbox from Aonouma with Zelda stationary!! amazing!!!

So has anyone downloaded Dillon's Rolling Western? It's a game I was looking forward to for a while but the £9 price has put me off. Pullblox was just over a fiver and i've had 30 hours out of that! DRW looks great but is it worth the high price?

Yep indeed :) It's actually really tough to get into, from what I've read once you figure the game out it's supposed to be really good but it's unforgiving at the beginning and there's no real tutorial so you have to roll around trying to work it all out.

It's basically a game of 2 parts - part 1 is setting up the map, mining, activating turrets etc, then part 2 is the defense. Imagine a tower defense game in real time and in 3D. In the Wild west. I dunno if it's worth £9 yet though.
