With only Dam left to vote, looks like it'll be Arrow Flash or possibly a revote between that and Esp Ra De then? I'll get to practicing those two, although Esp Ra De's scoring never seemed to make sense to me. Something about recharging your super-psychic-laser gauge? It is a fun game though.

Believe me, it makes LESS sense once you get further into it.

I've always thought the scoring in that game was really damn stupid.

There's like, all of FOUR Cave games that I honestly dislike, and THREE of them are the RaDe/Galuda series (cant stand any of them, bah). The other is DOJ.

Though, Galuda 2's Black Label mode on 360 is decent, albeit RIDICULOUSLY EASY. And strange. Really freaking strange.

I'm calling the voting off tomorrow eve. I wake up about 5pm so if haven't heard back from Dam, it's game on with arrow flash. That'll be 5 days since the end of the last game so I think that's enough time to be waiting on one person. I know not everyone logs in everyday but dam has only posted once In the thread thoughout, so he might not be that bothered... I dunno.

Arrow Flash seems like a fun one.

Saw it on Classic Game Room, Mark sure seemed to enjoy it.

One of the many games for that console that I never had.... always had lots of NES/SNES stuff, but not much at all for Sega's device.

Officially starting tomorrow as I know alot of people will be at work today so not really fair to lose a day without knowing imo. but you can submit scores from now basically.

First credits scores will be good to see, no matter how bad... Just like to see people's progress throughout the month.

Anyway have fun. I'm dusting off the Mega Drive... now!

Looking for the rom, I IMMEDIATELY hit a wall. This one's ESA protected, so.... yeah, kinda not available, at least, not anywhere that I've ever seen to look for roms.

Kinda cant play it without the rom.

EDIT: Nevermind, I THINK I found it. Unless the file turns out to be something else in disguise.

Hate rom sites. Some of them are VERY shady. I'm surprised my security stuff didnt flip out over that.

Well, after a brief try....

....hmm, it's not bad, but...

This is one of the SLOWEST paced shmups I've ever seen. Ye gods, that first stage. It just draaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaags. On and on and on and on and on and on and on and on.... stage 2 wasnt exactly a bucket of excitement either.

The game seems rather on the easy side too, though I knew that going into it.

And I dont know what in the world the ship form is for. It seems pretty much useless. If there's some wacky trick it can do, I'd love to hear it. Seems like the best idea is just to stick to the... er.... robot? Whatever the hell that thing is.

I'll play this one more later on. It'll take a bit of patience and a good bit more time for a single run than I usually like to give these.

My first credits involved me ramming into enemies lots so this was a couple of attempts after that. I was hoping this game wouldn't get chosen becuase of the slow start but it's still fun I guess. The second half of stage 2 is pretty cool, in fact, and I'm sure the later levels will be even more improved. I only saw a tiny bit of stage 3 because some enemies came at me from behind and flew straight into me. Will play some more later.

So what's the Stock/Charge thing about?

It's to do with your special attack - the invincibility in robot mode and the arrow attack in ship mode. WIth stock you have a limited number which you can activate at any time, as indicated by the blue squares at the top of the screen. An 'A' item increases your stock by one and it looks like you get some more after completing a stage 2. I've not tried the other one but I beleive you have an unlimited number but you have to wait for it to recharge inbetween uses.

Also what's the reasoning behind saying no to autofire? I can already feel the RSI coming on
