As mentioned in the other thread I secured the N97 from Shopto for £65 quid rather than the £70 Gamestation were charging. Even though I cancelled my order with Gamestation I still got a notification and £5 credit today too. Both Shopto and Zavvi are making a big deal about selling this at the moment, this can only be good for people wanting to buy this edition. You dropped the ball Game

More like being forced to. I'm guessing their bad status with their creditors means they can't buy in the stock of ME3 LE's even if they wanted to.

I also received received notification from Gamestation.
Have re-preordered for the 360 with Shopto.

So now I have a fiver voucher to spend. Soul Calibur Special edition is 44.99 delivered, with my voucher bringing that down to £39.99. Tempted to buy at that price.

That comment was more my frustration at Game as a whole, it's looking really bad for them at the moment :(

If this isn't a cautionary tale of limited edition collecting I don't know what is:

Ive seen it cheaper than that at the start of the year. Think it was £12, This is one of the reasons ive stopped buying games new now, well that and being broke and not having a job :D The money im saving easily covers any DLC i might need to get online with games.

The only new stuff id consider buying would be the Japanese shooters for the 360

I know that the logical thing to do is wait but I love those sets - I'm addicted!! :D I picked up the 360 version of this for £25 and I thought I was doing well, no matter what your opinion is of the game such a low price for one of the best LE's released last year is such a great deal.

^agreed. I've no interest in playing the game, but I couldn't pass it up at 15 quid.

I had a major censored moment yesterday. I have all my bigger limited editions in a cupboard up the stairs, away from sticky destructive little hands. Whilst having a look and tidy up yesterday soul calibur 5 fell from the top shelf and on its way down the book spine part brushed against a screw sticking out and ripped it up the side.

censored

What do you get in the Duke LE? I thought it was just a statue so I never bothered with it.

Well, I've cancelled my second pre-order for ME3 CE. Got my fiver code from GAME, then reordered with Shopto despite having zero funds. Checked my credit card balance today & they'd already taken the money out & I realised I really couldn't afford it. I've already got the gorgeous ME art book from last week & as books are my 'thing', I'm happy with that.

Do you have a cute bum? If so,then why not consider being a rentboy? The moneys great so you will have plenty of dosh for limited editions.

I've never looked back
