I have been collecting Retro Gamer since issue #72, and each issue from 72 through to 99 has a cover price of 9.99 USD. Issue 100+1 cost 14.99 USD. I assume this is because you were buying two complete issues at once. But to be sure that Retro Gamer's cover price is not increasing, could you please quell my fears and assure me that issue 101, when it arrives next month, will cost 9.99 USD?
Also, what advantages are there from a cost perspective from a subscription as opposed to continuing to purchasing the issues at the store, as they come out? According to the subscription section, you can save 25% off the cover price and pay £80.00 for a 13-issue US subscription. however, at today's exchange rate, this amounts to 9.84 USD per issue, when I believe the current price of an issue is 9.99 USD. Aside from convenience, there is not much of a cost advantage to subscribing.
