Everdrive (SNES ver)

Postby DPrinny on Sat Mar 10, 2012 5:56 pm

Looking to get one (or a decent flash cart for a SNES) only problem is.
No where has any in stock of them.

Seem one called a "Super UFO pro 8" thats cheaper, but I read that its slow loading. Worth getting that or waiting a undefined "2 weeks" for the Super everdrive?

I have literally just checked the Superufo out myself Prin and I want one, or something similar. Much as I would love to buy the most expensive SNES games it just isn't possible.

Ok I got one.

Have spent all day using it.
Problems
The main one is it only shows the first six letters of a name
Menu scrolling, you can only scroll forwards threw pages (ten games on each), this is done with select

The good.
£70 for a load of unboxed SNES games
It has a few game tunes on the main menu, ones a kind of fusion of Mario and Robocop
Mode 7 games work

Its great

just read up on it, sounds like a nce bit of kit especially the save state feature, i wounder what the support will be like on it, i know with the everdrive the guy who makes them is well known for fixing any reported bugs or issues and puts out regular updates whenever he adds new features, he will even replace/fix if you knacker it, hopefully this card will recieve the same sort of support :D

F-Zero worked
Pilotwings - Didnt work in game
Yoshi - nope
F-Zero 2 - work
Starfox 2 - no work
Super Noahs ark 3d - No work
Doom - No work
Read somewhere that plugging a mode 7 game in the top helps some work.
I have none to hand (i never really have had the chance to own loads of SNES games)

Tempted to get some flash carts for other systems.

The NES one is bloody expensive

As luck would have it, one of our members is doing a group buy on Amibay. Got quite a discount last time we did one, and there's quite a few signed up again, so another saving in the offing again.
I've got all the other carts, apart from an Everdrive GG, so I put my request in, and it's a tenner cheaper.

He's closing the thread in 2 days, so if you want in, you'd better be quick.

Were I not going to Spain next week (and thus skint) I'd be all over an MD flash cart.

Which N64 cart are you interested in?

N64 (ED64V2) - £51.00 or 61.40 EUR

N64 (ED64V2 + CIC) - £57.30 or 69.00 EUR

That's what he's been quoted, without shipping at the moment (around a pound for the UK).
