Most interestingly I found one on Sky that I'd never seen before (or since!) it was just loads of 16 bit footage interpersed with some quite sarcastic comments and retro-tastic links and references. Does anyone know what I'm on about?!

Lol, that would be my show, "Guru Larry's Retro Corner". It's on showcase tv, information tv and controversial tv. Problem is they put it all over the place and is usually the second half of another show.

I've got the episodes cut up into individual games on YouTube if that's of any help to you!

I caught that a few times last year and had no idea the bloke behind it was on the forum!

Thanks dude, yeah it is quite perplexing as to when it airs, even I don't know when it's on. But yeh, I've been on here for years dude! I don't come on too much as I've not frequented any forum for a while for some reason, but I pop in from time to time.

I've been speaking to Darren for ages about doing some kind of article for the magazine, just a case of what really. Id love to do something video related too!

In Australia the ABC runs 'Good Game' and 'Good Game - Spawn Point (for younger gamers).
Channel 31, the public access station runs 'Level 3'.

All run 1/2 an hour each.

Mate, since you posted this on Saturday I have been on an emotional journey(!) I've watched every episode of Retro Corner, I've watched every episode of GYCW, watched you playing board games and I've watched the sheer shock on your face as you deal incredibly well with having almost your entire games collection saturated. Just finished watching the 'follow up' now..

Talk about reality TV, THAT is reality and I tell you now I'd be on the floor sobbing, not making a vlog! Did you put in an insurance claim?

What was the show on sky 1 with the two black london presenters around 2002 ish?

I used to love gamesworld, on every night of the week with different presenters. Big boy barry and co iirc

Awful?

Presentation like Big Boy Barry is why I stopped watching these things.

Dominik Diamond did do another gaming show for Sky. I cant remember its name but it werent bad, it had Caroline Flack in it too. Doing her own feature called 'Flack Attack'. Iirc im sure she visited Ubisoft on one of her features while they were making the original Assassins Creed. So its not all that old.

Im sure theres another show doing the rounds called 'Gamr' or something like that, I think Guru Larry might appear on there too.

^ I've got 17 out of 20 episodes of it on VHS somewhere. Really must get round to transferring them to my HDD and bunging them on YouTube someday.
