Viewtiful Joe is proper old school. I can't get past level 3!

You wait until level 5 then.

You have to fight all the bosses again.

Isn't it level 6? In anycase that's where I'm stuck aswell. :(

I've neglected my Gamecube games! This thread has revitalised my interest! Tonight I'm having a Gamecube night :)

With the above taken into account, how about Celda?

(or the zelda collection?)

What? Lego Star Wars 1 and 2 dont exist on the GC? Naah. The complete Saga is just 1 and 2 on one disc, I can understand the last one, it only came out last year!

You did not speak about Lego Star Wars 1 and 2, you spoke about Complete Saga (which as an updated combined version) and Clone Wars, neither of which exist on the cube.

Its still essentially 1 and 2 though isnt it? Unless some major overhaul has gone on? And I already said above that I understand the clone wars wouldnt be on it. I reckon I'll try him with some Zelda love instead.

Reading through this thread has just reminded me that the GC was my lost proper impulse purchase. I mean ive snapped up the odd game here and there, for sure. But I havent walked past a shop window, seen something I liked that costs a fair whack, and just treated myself. For a very long time.

Hey, me too! I walked into an old videogame shop in Salisbury and they had a modded Japanese cube running Rogue Squadron. This was probably only a week before the EU launch, but I just had to have it. So I decided, what the hell and bought the console, Rogue Squadron and Luigi's Mansion. I payed way over the odds, but I never regretted it.

I bought the Resi 4 'limited' edition. It was near the end of the GC lifespan so it was on offer and too good to turn down. I offset the initial saving with a few games  . Really glad I bought it tbh, even if I barely played it. I still cant figure out how to get the controller to fit inside the box with everything else!

Here are some games I think you should get hold of

Twin Snakes is well worth tracking down, I have a German version which I nabbed for around the £20 mark.
Geist I found to be pretty enjoyable, it's worth a play if you can find it cheap enough I paid $9.99 when I was on holiday in America so at the time it worked out around £5 well worth that amount I think
Battalion Wars is pretty good
Chi bi Robo is a personal favourite of mine and one I think you should get hold of right away
The Star Wars rouge squadron games
Luigi's Mansion
The Resi Remakes along with Zero
The Pikmin games
