Quite a bit of Galaxian at the mo, as I've just discovered MAME for Android phones. :)

When you think you've got problems you don't really need,
They're maybe not as bad as they seem,
Cos in a world full of misery, with hatred and greed,
Your problems are another man's dream.

Been clearing out my bro's old PC stuff, just found a mini-stack of old CD-ROMs from the late 90s/2000 etc., found myself installing and playing Buzz Lightyear Of Star Command! First impressions were pretty terrible, just your usual PS1-era generic Disney action platformer but I actually found myself getting slightly addicted to it, despite its sh!teness, had to turn it off but might return, something addicting about having to collect the little green blokes on each stage!

A lot of nintendogs, just downloaded a bunch of demos that I'm looking forward to trying. I'm trying to sink more time into sfxt so I can actually learn a damn team. Thinking julia and raven, but those puppies just keep being more fun than grinding combos.

Decided to finally try and get to grips with Ivy for SCV, not going too well at the mo. Usually prefer more straightforward characters. Also had a crack at making Amy in CAS using Raphael soul. Need to unlock more stuff it seems.

Played more dracula chronicles, I'm really enjoying it. I wish they weren't so frugal with the continues though. Same goes for ultimate ghost and goblins, I'm enjoying both of them a lot but I really would like an infinite continue option. Really makes me want to buy the dracula chronicles on psn to play on my psp.

Put Dragon Quest IX on hold for a bit and fired up No More Heroes 2. I have to take my hat off to Suda 51 - I have never in all my 20-odd years as a gamer seen a sequel so effectively fix the problems of the original game. Iffy free-roaming sections? Gone. Boring 'job' sections? Gone (and replaced by cool 8-bit style minigames). Charging you to enter levels thus forcing you to repeatedly play the boring 'job' sections to earn cash? Gone. It's like the original No More Heroes with everything that didn't work removed and everything that did turned up to 11. Which makes it... pretty damn amazing.

I picked up Armored Core 5, having always been a fan of the series.

......however, I've barely gotten any actual GAMEPLAY out of it. Just trying to edit the damn mechs and the emblems (worst. Editor. Ever.) caused me to totally blow a fuse.

So now going back to the safer confines of Dwarf Fortress, which has a UI that makes PERFECT sense and is easy as pie to learn..... in comparison with the UI from hell that AC5 has.

That game is gonna take more patience to figure out than I currently have.

Started playing Silent Hill for the first time. The first one. Haven't played any of them before. Not really my kind of game, but I decided to give it a try.

Pretty good game, found it really easy though. I was 16 hours in until I forgot to backup my saves when updating my CFW and lost it all!
